Book it!

I think OKC is the best team in the league by far and there's not even a guarantee the Heat will come out of the East(the Bulls are also better).

There are two questions here. 1) Will the Heat ever win a title with the "Big 3"? 2) How many more all-stars do they need to win one?(Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, etc.)

If they don't win it this year, Pat Riley will blow it up.

Who do you think he gets rid of? I think it would be a knee jerk reaction to "blow it up."

The team just isn't built correctly. Lebron and Wade are the same player, they don't have many outside shooters and they have no low post player. Bosh is a soft PF. The team should trade Lebron or Wade to Orlando and get Dwight. If they are able to add Steve Nash in free agency then they can win multiple titles. But as of right now, they aren't good enough and given that they have all their money tied up in 3 players, they can't really build around them either.

Looks like they don't like him in Boston either...

Adding a 38 year old Steve Nash does not put them over the hump.

I do agree they need to get rid of Wade or Bron, most likely it would be Wade. Bosh is soft, yes, but he isn't the problem.

I think Steve Nash is exactly what they need. He's still a great player in this league and can shoot the 3 ball.

Nothing pleases me more than watching the Heat construct this "mega team" and then not winning. Pretty hilarious.

If they play the way they are playing now in the playoffs, they'd be lucky to win a series.

Heat will win now. This is one of those SQ type threads where it fails miserably. Thanks a lot sleeper.

I don't know how anyone can think this team can win a championship after the way they played against Boston. Besides Lebron and Wade, who are both healthy, they get no production from anyone else.

I'm rarely wrong on predictions that negatively predict an outcome. See all my predictions regarding Notre Dame.

Was kind of thinking this was a "kiss of death" kind of thread as soon as I saw the title.

The Red Wings have had 6 game losing streaks for each one of the last 4 seasons in which they won a cup. Bottomline is I think OKC is better but they're the best team in the East

Predicting ND is going to suck and that QQ_wok/Lotz is going to QQ is not quite going out on a limb there.

Agreed. I don't think this prediction is going out on a limb though either.

No professional team has ever won a championship with LeBron James on its roster....and I don't think it'll happen this year either.

If the Heat don't win it this year, I dont think they will ever win a championship with the current "big 3".

And I dont see Steve Nash as a good fit. You already have two players who demand the ball a majority of the time as it is.
