For the day job, I work as a marketing rep. I have no specific times I have to work, just have to be in stores for 6 hours a day. The rest of the day is paperwork, conference calls, and admin stuff. I also get one day a week as an "office day" where I stay home to work on projects for my boss or the account team. It's a Mon-Fri job. But during peak retail hours, we have to shift to a Tue-Sat schedule.

Work in the UPS hub in Toledo...Noon to 5 during the week and go fulltime to school. Tough work but hey it's got great benefits and you only work Sundays during Christmas when you bring home some serious cash. Solid job for college and if I choose will be a driver in 4 years

I had a friend who went to work for UPS after HS while attending college. He ended up becoming a package delivery driver and is making very good cash with great benefits. He decided to drop out of school because of the job.

Do it! I Had 3 years of active duty Army and 6 years in the Air National Guard. Looking back I wish I had toughed out 11 more years so I could have military retirement pay when I finally decide to call it quits. But as they say I was "young, dumb, and full of cum." ;)

UPS (or FedEx for that matter) is tough work, but if you can stick it out it can be very lucrative.

To answer the question I average about 60 hours a week, 40 hours actually working and 20 hours traveling. I'm a regional counsel for an Asia Pacific bank, so there is a lot of flying around the region involved.

Business owner I come and go as I please but I'm never really away for the businesses. I have a office in my home so i can do work there (early mornings and late evening) my cell phone also let me communicate with the office, orders, production and customers. Many times I start very early because I have to communicate with China, Germany, UK or India and other overseas companies. I do make it a point to work everyday (never weekends) and go into the office daily early 5:00/5:30 at times. On average with working at home, on the road and in the office 50/60 hours is basic per week.

I work M-F, 8am-6pm. Usually a 50-hour work week, although there are some at my company that push 60 hours on the regular. Not unheard of for a 70 hour week here or there.

Market research consulting ... so ... administering consumer/B2B surveys and packaging results for some big, big clients to present to their higher-ups. Core competencies include segmentation and driver modeling.

Yeah but that's only part time. I spend probably 70 hours on the ship doing maybe 5 hours of actual work. But this is inport. Underway is a total different ball game.

Electrical Engineer. My schedule is supposedly flexible, but I work 6-6 mon-thurs and 6-2:30 on friday. I do this only to keep up with the ever increasing work load. I do, however, refuse to work late on friday. Most people here are lucky to get 40 hours in.
