It is a term...and until the PC crowd got a hold of it was kust a term to describe someone born of parents of black and white parents. Dont worry im sure in 20 years the whacko PC people will say that biracial is offensive to someone too.

Until people can discuss these issues in a rational manner, then nothing will ever improve.

Agreed. I've tried to have rational discussions with people about race in America, but the moment I say I'm against Affirmative Action, I'm labeled a racist.

Quite funny how people seems to be very affected easily by racist comments when they have been non existent for a very long time. Though I am not saying that they are just portraying these spots just so they would seem to fit in with all the things going against it as that would have totally gone against its main purpose.

It seems like people just consider racism when you call people black but the very though of thinking of someone as white, is racism also.

i have read that there are more black males in prison than live on college campuses but im not sure if its true...but if you add in gangs then for sure. i have conversations everyday with kids who look at their chances getting a real job or getting a piece of the billion dollar drug industry. many times they just dismiss me as "Mr. T is preaching again"...sometimes their argument is stronger than mine but i work hard to change that.

I was in school a generation ago...and I can assure you that there were many scholarships available to everyone.
