Waiters will get his. Jardine too I think. Joseph, Southerland, Triche and Fair are wild cards once again. 2 of those 4 help Waiters and Scoop out....I like Syracuse's chances.

This is a bad match up for osu. Ohio state needs to limit cuse in transition bc that's when there at there best. And cbf your a dumbass and quit posting seriously. Everyone knows Syracuse plays a different type of zone then anyone in the country. If Ohio state doesn't shoot well from 3 there going to be in trouble. Notre dame had a great gameplan against Syracuse. They took the air out of the ball and knocked down the open 3's and crashed the boards on offense. Once again Buford is the key. He has to play well for the bucks to win

Syracuse has a huge advantage in preparation till Saturday. Because they play the 2-3 zone their isn't a lot of preparing. Heard Boeheim say that himself during the big east tourney.
They play that zone so well. We will have to be able to make some 3's. Just hope we aren't settling for them. Wisconsin didn't try to throw it inside at all. But we will. Hopefully Thomas and sully do a good job flashing to the high post and then either hitting jumpers or hitting either the post man or an open man on the wing.
It'd be a game were seibert would fit in well off the bench, but he must be in the dog house.
I could see this game going either way. So I'll just hope for the best

Go bucks!!

Syracuse has great athletes, it will be tough. Wisconsin played a great game but couldn't stop Syracuse from getting to the rim. Ohio State is quicker than Wisconsin so I'm hoping that they can limit penetration. I don't know who on that team Thomas and Sullinger can stay with, they are all quick. Ohio State will need to play a game like they played against Duke to win, none the less, I have the Bucks going to the Final Four on my Bracket Sheet so OSU 76 Syracuse 73.

Do you think my prediction is a lie? I honestly do think that OSU wins. I hope not but that's what I think happens because I see Buford having success against the zone.

centralbucksfan;1124879 wrote:How so? Who is going to match up with Sully and Thomas? OSU is a very good offensive rebounding team. 'Cuse is a poor rebounding team.
If OSU plays defense like they are capable, consistantly, they will be right where the need to be.

I think it will be a great game. They will have to play well, no doubt. 'Cuse has a very good team. But very beatable.
Syracuse plays a 2-3 zone, they don't "matchup" 1 on 1 lol so I really can't answer who will matchup with Sully and Thomas.

OSU can grab as many offensive boards as they want, but if you don't have shooters, you aren't going to beat Syracuse unless the Orange are cold and it becomes a low scoring game (which I could see OSU winning then).

I think this is going to be the best Elite 8 matchup. 2 very, very good teams w/ NBA talent everywhere.

I'll take Boeheim over Matta, even though I was shocked to hear this is the first Elite 8 for Boeheim since their '03 title year.

u r the worst.

What we do know is Sully will not affect anything down low with that 2 inch vertical and he has only one post move which consist of lowering his head and going into people like a retarded giraffe. For Sully it's duck my head and barrel into the defender and hope for a foul. Also LOL at anyone who tries and disprove my post. Thanks for playing!!

Eh, I think the Cinci fans that were claiming that Sullinger was essentially garbage deserve to be mocked for a bit.

Now if it was Buford they were trying to downplay...

A number 1 that has played well for the year, but then lost a key piece but still winning and in the Elite 8. Versus a number 2 that started out hot, cooled a little then picked it back up at the end of the year and in the Elite 8. It should be a fun game to watch, but a hard game to watch if the Bucks settle for the perimeter. Thomas is custom made to bust a 2-3 zone from the high post, IMO. Soft touch and a good jumper, with Sullinger roaming the low post, that is how you beat the 2-3. Wisky did it for 35 minutes, then when the game got to the end they tried pick and roll? LOL

Syracuse if they win I wont be shocked no matter the score and the same for the Bucks.

Disagree, I thought he stepped up well to extend the lead both times when Buford went AWOL.
