during a game. Tried to get him breathing, and there are unconfirmed reports out there that he is breathing again.

Here's the full video of the whole thing. Love the crowd cheering him on. Only 23 years old.

Last I heard he was still in the critical care unit, and in critical condition. This was like 15 minutes ago.

This is absolutely terrible.

The soccer world is on his side. Continue battling Muamba!

I read an article that said he was in "stable condition" while also saying he is "critically ill." I didn't really understand that. I guess...the most positive news right now is that he's still alive. Many prayers and best wishes are with him. A full recovery would be amazing and truly a miracle.

No. But a 23 year old professional soccer player isn't the guy you would expect to go down from a heart attack.

"Fabrice has played 33 times for England Under-21s, captaining Stuart Pearce's side during this time and is a player, and more importantly, a person we care greatly for. We are in contact with Bolton Wanderers over Fabrice's condition and are awaiting updates."

He's not one of the top level players, but he is well respected by almost everyone in the game. Decents kill, even better person.

I read that his heart was stopped for 2 hours. I would think there has to be some significant brain damage at that point, even if he survives.

Crazy story. You definitely don't expect something like this to happen to a 23 year old professional athlete.

Also, just read this article:
http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/story/_/id/7705008/bolton-midfielder-fabrice-muamba-remains-critically-ill

The part that stuck out to me...
Meanwhile, a man has been arrested after allegedly making racist remarks on Twitter relating to Muamba.
Police in London said a 21-year-old man from south Wales was being held in custody in Swansea Central.
I didn't know that you can be arrested in England for being an idiot.

I applaud Real for doing this for both Muamba and Abidal. In El Clasico, I root for Barcelona, but I have to give them major props.

Then you watch a game like yesterday, with 2 red cards for players and 2 ejections for coaches. And you watch Pepe be Pepe, and Ramos be a cheap shot artist, etc, etc. They have enough class to get by. The days before "The Great One" were in charge Madrid was respected in football. Now, they are a joke.
