Who had some nasty lightning overnight?

Last night was insane. Some powerful storms started rolling through at about 3:30am. We were sleeping with the windows open, so the hail is what woke me up. I got up and closed the windows, but left the bedroom window open a crack. I laid back down and got on my phone to check for weather warnings. About the same time I heard what sounded like a loud static *pop* and my phone (that was plugged in) shocked the shit out of me) Right after that a big flash of lightning and a loud crash of thunder.

About 3 more times I heard the loud *pop* before a flash of lightning. Crazy shit.

I didn't notice the lightening as much as I did some really loud thunder. One clap of thunder shook our entire house. And, no, we don't live in a trailer.

Early this morning around 4:30 the storms rolled in, thunder, lighting and rumbling ... I was up can't sleep lots of problems with the businesses what to do issues. I sat in the back room, three sides are nothing but glass. With my coffee in hand I watched, it was very intense at times. Not a lot of rain however .. </SPAN>

It rolled through about 3:45 at our house. Cletus is scared to death of storms, so he was buried under the covers shaking like a leaf. It lasted til about 7:00. Very intense thunder and lightening.

That's because columbiana couty sucks the life out of everything.

We got no storms last night here in Cincy but my brothe-in-law just got struck by lightning while driving though Mason.

Nothing around here yet. Hope it goes around us so I can finish getting the garden tilled for the first time.

There were lots of reports on the radio that it was hailing so hard and so much at 70 and 79 that there was like an inch of slush on the road

Solid attempt, but the clock is on a built in bookshelf across the room.

He's all good. He didn't sleep so good so he's gonna nap for the next 7 or 8 hours.

Hailed twice in Fairfield County last night covering the ground around 345 and then marble size an hour later. The light show was intense.
