It's our stadium. We can seat people any way we want. Besides, the teachers do good work for us, and they deserve special treatment.

Doesn't make the reasoning any more or less sensible.

If we don't need the seats for visiting fans (and most of the time we don't), then give them to the teachers in appreciation for the good work they do.ts1227;1121185 wrote:Doesn't make the reasoning any more or less sensible.

In other words, are you saying the teams you play bring no fans with them? Why is that?FairwoodKing;1121194 wrote:If we don't need the seats for visiting fans (and most of the time we don't), then give them to the teachers in appreciation for the good work they do.

The local teams we play never fill up the visitor side!

Because local people outside of Steubenville do not support their teams. Duhholdingout;1121639 wrote:In other words, are you saying the teams you play bring no fans with them? Why is that?

yah I guess they should leave the seats empty.
The point is, if we can seat 8000 and we sell 5000 seats, why shouldn't we give some good seats to the faculty? I'm not sure what the issue is or why anyone is worried about it. We are not talking about most local teams that get under 1000 fans with 1000 seats when seats may be at a premium.
Just learn from Steubenville and we will all be better off.

Our stadium seats 9,100 now after making larger seats , but we have room for another 3,000 on big games . Our visitors side is bigger than most home sides in our area . We get a full crowd a couple times a year and come close another couple times . ill give our teachers 50 yd line seats and Youll like it . they do it at Massillon . they sell all the prime seats for season ticket holders up there on the far side. The thing is our place is plenty big enough to accomodate visitors . we are good hosts

So is the pressbox a complete rebuild, or just remodeling the one that's there? Is the former, what dimensions and how tall is it going to be and how does it affect the marquee out front with the championship history?

It is my understanding that the current pressbox will be expanded on each side...and the ticket office refurbished. There will be new steps put in, and new signage up.

And is it true that on the side closest to the home seating, where the Reno Field quote used to be, it's gonna say "Welcome To Death Vally" and it's gonna say Reno Field near the visitor side?

No..both sides say Reno Field as far as I could tell the other day.
That's a good idea though! lol

The press box is going to look great. Now can anyone tell me when the rest of the seats will be replaced? I have sat in the new end zone to see a Central game and the view was just great. The seat was comfortable and the view was good. I'll be glad when the whole stadium is set up like that.

Are those Luxory boxes? Maybe we will have some seats for when the gov or the president come to town on a visit
