Gotcha. Yeah, I don't really think it needs a "one more thing" either. It's a pretty nice gadget and a big upgrade over the iPad 2, especially for those that don't already have one.

The screen is the big update thanks to Sharp. I'm sure the cpu will be faster but I wonder what benchmarks they are using when comparing it to other processors like the tegra3. I am sure iOS is highly optimized for the updated processor thus giving it huge speed improvements.

It says it has more memory than both the PS3 and xbox360. Not sure what that will mean in terms of performance, but I'm guessing we'll start seeing some pretty impressive games on the iPad soon.

I feel like 16gb is pretty useless. I probably have 4gigs just in apps on mine and I don't have that many apps and only a couple of games (maybe it's email filling it up...haven't checked). You can put all your music in the cloud, but then if you only have wifi you won't be able to listen to it out and about.

Unless they bumped the PS3 the past few years, it only has 512mg of ram. I'm guessing the IPad probably has 1gig ram.
