Frank Robinson, Elio Chacon, Bill Henry, Whitey Lockman, and Tony Gonzalez. I guess I needed 5, not 4.

I would be interested in seeing a list of all the Reds cards you had.

I hope I still have my '53 Mantle. Even the crappy graded ones are worth some dough
Yeah, that card would still be worth a couple hundred with a grade below a 4 or 5.

We were talking about how big card collecting used to be and how the hobby is almost non-existent compared to today. I remember my mom dropping me off at card shows, usually at hotels where they rented a big room. There was also several card shops in about every town.

I can't believe how far card prices dropped. I have Jerry Rice and Bo Jackson rookies that used to be a big deal. Now they aren't but few dollars, if that. I also have a few complete sets from the late 80's. My parents would get each of the boys a complete Topps football or baseball set for Christmas. My favorite was the 1986 Topps football set. It's the one that had the Rice rookie in it. It used to be worth $200-300. Now I think you can pick it up for $10.

selling for $139

I think it was a 3 something, which is why my dad gave it to me back in the early 90's. He may have poached it from my set and sold it at some point when I was asking him for $$ in college.

I have 3 of the Billy Ripken "Fuck Face" cards. Also have huge boxes and folders full of sets of cards I used to collect when I was younger, some unopened.

That is very possible. Everything appears similar I just don't remember the seal on the bottom right. This one is a 97 metal universe

Remember the Upper Deck Michael Jordan baseball card? I think it was from the 1991 set.

I saw one on ebay grade 10 for $102. It must have come up in the last couple years. The last time I looked, the whole damn set was only about $30 for mint condition.

I just looked at it to see the condition not through a teenagers eyes, corners are a bit worn, slight crease. Maybe I should get it graded, how would I do that? I also see I have the Jack Kemp from that same series.

That's just an ask price. Anyone can ask what they want. Most on ebay are $10-30.
