I'd say it was more of an awful call by Zimmer than anything. No idea what he was thinking.

I know a win wasn't guaranteed, but that's 3 games now the Bengals have pissed away this year. They are going to mess around and miss the playoffs.

Rivers played a tremendous game and the clock mismanagement by the Bengals at the end of the first half, and the penalties to kill the first drive of the 2nd half, along with other costly penalties allowed the Chargers to overcome the gift handover interception that Gates gave the Bengals. Not Rivers fault whatsoever on that INT. Really good game and the Bengals didn't play it "close to the vest" like they have been and their great effort wasn't enough to keep their hopes for a first round bye from going down the drain.
