I would gladly move down a few draft spots if it meant a win over the steelers, and ending rapistberger's career.Automatik;1319212 wrote:You don't want to fuck around and actually win. You have a high draft pick to play for.

It's the perfect word when comparing his play and how shitty/inconsistent the rest of the team has been.Raw Dawgin' it;1319225 wrote:positive is a strong word to use about the guy...

Yeah, elsewhere, you have very inconsistent play by the backs/OL (couple really good games, a few really blah ones); what at least seems to have been a lot of drops by WRs over the season AND a defense which looks great at times and looks as old and washed up as fans of certain other teams have been predicting/hoping for at others.Automatik;1319235 wrote:It's the perfect word when comparing his play and how shitty/inconsistent the rest of the team has been.
Ben's been the one guy who's had consistent success this year.

SC sprain is when the collarbone popped in front/behind sternum

I guess that is good news somewhat, although I don't know shit about an SC sprain.

Like Amendola's injury this year? If so ..could miss the rest of the season.End of Line;1319256 wrote:Pittsburgh Steelers ‏@steelers

yeah I believe you are right. I just remember it popped inward which was why he was out so long.Gblock;1319298 wrote:amendola was a complete dislocation of collarbone if i remember correctly it was on the inside by his neck not on the outside by his shoulder but i could be wrong

Im guessing he is back for the second Baltimore game. Though wouldnt be surprised if he played last minute versus Cleveland. I doubt he plays this week.

Worst holding call I've ever seen. Not to mention the offensive PI call in an attempt to avoid overtime for "America's team".Ironman92;1319082 wrote:Yeah because that blocker needed to have his hands attached like that for 15 yards after the player had ran by him. It was his own fault for giving the ref the opportunity by holding on that long.
Everyone wanted the replacements gone......here's what you guys all hoped for.
Only a really blind homer wouldn't agree with what America saw last night.

[h=1]Doctors Fear Roethlisberger’s Injury May Force Him To Hang Out With Them More In Training Room[/h]
November 13, 2012 · By PFM Staff
Pittsburgh Steelers team doctors are concerned that the shoulder injury suffered by quarterback Ben Rothlisberger during Monday night’s game against the Chiefs may cause him to start spending significant time hanging out with them in the team’s medical facility, it was reported Tuesday.
“Hey, you guys wanna hear me sing some AC/DC? ‘She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean…’ hey, where you going?”
“We’re not sure exactly what type of injury Ben has at this time,” said Dr. James Bradley, a member of the team’s medical staff. “It could be a simple sprain, a basic first degree separation, or even a severe third degree separation. The fear of course is that the more serious the injury the more (Roethlisberger) will be in here with us, just ‘chillaxing’ as he calls it.”
“Look Ben’s a nice guy and all,” seconded Dr. Joseph Maroon. “But he definitely not someone any of us want to spend too much time around. He just keeps talking about all his favorite Nickelback songs, or which one of the Bengals cheerleaders has the biggest boobs. Sometimes he insists on using his smart phone to show us some funny cat picture he saw on the internet. He’s just tedious company.”
Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin has officially labeled Roethlisberger as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the division rival Ravens.
“We’re going to wait for the results of Ben’s test to come back before making any decision about his status for the rest of the season,” Tomlin told reporters. “And in the meantime, we sort of get to enjoy a few Ben-free practices. No one insisting on playing air guitar in the huddles, yelling “whoomp, there it is,” after every five yard completion, or giving the running backs wedgies when we’re trying to rehearse our two-minute offense.”
Concluded Tomlin,” Ben’s our leader and all, so we hope to get him back at some point, But, for the time being, the medical staff can deal with him for a while, as far as I’m concerned.”

This will be life threatening, then he'll be 100% by gametime Sunday. We'll hear all about how tough he is, and how only a transformer could play through this type of injury.
Then it'll all happen again next month.

Shouldn't that be "Dan Dierdorf's [adsense] spit after he's done [adsense'ing] Roethlisberger's [adsense] stick"?SportsAndLady;1319396 wrote:This will be life threatening, then he'll be 100% by gametime Sunday. Then we'll all get sprayed in the face by Dan Dierdorf's cum spit after he's done adsense'ing Roethlisberger's rape stick.

I have seen worse holding calls, but yeah that one was pretty bad. The offensive PI call, again, i have seen worse but still pretty bad.Footwedge;1319368 wrote:Worst holding call I've ever seen. Not to mention the offensive PI call in an attempt to avoid overtime for "America's team".

As a steelers fan I kinda felt a little guilty getting those calls.

I'll say it again....questionable calls are going to happen. You can either overcome them (see: Steelers last week vs. Giants) or you can piss and moan about them which doesn't change the result.

And maybe they should have worried a little less about winning America's Best Dance Crew during a football game. The Chiefs have no one to blame but themselves. I've never seen a team with that poor of a record hot dog and showboat that much.
