Why on earth Rex Ryan thought "Mark gives us the best chance to win." is beyond me. Not that Tebow or McElroy would take them to the playoffs, but it was clear VERY early that Sanchez could not.

Not exactly sure why this was a big deal last week. Browns mother even said she wanted the team to fully support Brent and had no issue with this. But the NFL and the Cowboys give in to the backlash from people that have absolutely nothing to do with the situation?

Probably mostly PR driven? The guy killed another player while he was driving drunk less than two weeks ago. The NFL probably doesn't want people thinking that they stand by this sort of behavior

If I read it right. Dallas had no idea he would be there Sunday. He just showed up.

This is correct

He could still get into stadium even though he has been removed from the active roster (he was put on some list)

I mean I guess I can understand it bc of the PR issue and that they really didnt communicate with him before Sundays appearance. I just think its being made a bigger issue than it needs to be kinda

I guess thats everything in sports now a days though

I think the Dallas front office is in a tough spot. You wanna support him in a time where he needs it. But you also want to distance yourself from someone who potentially could be going to prison. He didnt help himself with the public eye, which was already bad, when they showed him on camera and he's laughing and not really looking too depressed. I don't think the front office could be completely wrong or right going in either direction.

But this still is a bigger issue. Don't nfl players have access to a free ride from anywhere at anytime and it's completely anonymous?!?!? Wtf!! Never ceases to amaze me just how stupid these guys are.

See it here in the military all the time too. There's a number to call for a free ride, in every squadron. Yet dui's happen frequently. I just don't understand it.

I mean the guy, as did the passenger made an incredibly stupid decision, and Im definitely not commending it. It would also be hypocritical of probably all of us to say we have never made the mistake of getting in the car after we or the driver has drank too much. We are just lucky. IMO, Brent really needs his teammates as it is all he feels he probably has right now. He did leave in the 3rd quarter after word got out that it was causing an outrage. The organization is in a lose/lose situation, but I think it is best for the to be there for him ONLY behind closed doors, as well as the FO making it clear that what he did was not acceptable (he killed his best friend, he obviously gets the point now), and them letting him know they are there for him.

They can support him without being in the public eye. The sideline was a bad idea by whoever decided it.

Nobody decided it. His teammates offered for him to without the knowledge of the coaching staff or Jerry Jones. Brent accepted after hesitation.

Brent should have been smart enough to know it would be an issue though.

That's good of them and I understand it....but it just doesn't seem right at all. No problem with them wanting to support him...he greatly needs it and his life is ruined. If the victim's family supports him, I have no reason to let it bother me....but as soon as you saw him on the sidelines you knew it would blow up like Tim Tebow blocking on a punt.

Adrian Peterson has 1,103 rush yds on 1st down this season, a total that would currently rank 10th by itself overall.

Check out this story about a Norwegian kicker whose youtube video got him a tryout with the Jets. The kid has a howitzer for a left leg and does some really amazing things with a football.

The video is in the link.
