Well today everybody reported as the Tigers begin their defense of the AL Central title and hope to improve upon finishing 2nd in the AL last season. I know we've got Tigers fans on here and anyone else can chime in, but what do y'all think about this season? According to Las Vegas they're the favorites to win it all this season and with the addition of Fielder it makes this lineup absolutely brutal throughout, Jackson-Boesch-Cabrera-Fielder-Young-Avila-Peralta is just nasty as all can hit with power. A bullpen with the best combo in the league of Benoit-Valverde and now Dotel in as a MRP and a terrific one-two punch of Verlander-Fister in starting roles. Should be a great year in the Motor City

I say anything but a pennant will be a disappointment this year.

Tigers dominated today 18-3 over the Braves. Also single game tickets went on sale yesterday and most of them have already been gobbled up

Tigers win 3-2 in the season opener on a walk-off single by Jackson. Jackson and Peralta with big days, both had 3 hits and really helped carry the offense while Cabrera kept getting walked and Fielder was just ok. Wasn't overly impressed to see them go 2-8 with RISP but they got great pitching from Justin today. Good start to what should be a great season. Hopefully AJ can keep it going this year though, it'd be huge to have a big leadoff guy
