Him too, not a great athlete, understands positioning and how to use his body. Great feet and hands, face up game with range, can pass the ball, fundamentally sound. Sully will be fine at the next level, he won't be facing double teams and the floor is spaced much better at the NBA level because of the three point line(23'9") and talent at every position on the floor which disallows the defenses to sag off. He will be productive right away.

I love Sully but I think Randolphs better at the offensive end.

Right now yes definitely, just making a comparison of similar styles. He reminds me of Love more than Randolph but Dynasty made a good comparison.

probably, but I'd say Sully is closer to a Randolph than a Big Baby.

Randolph had more offense at MSU as a freshman than Sully does in college. Randolph has improved a lot, and Im sure Sully will as well. But at a similar age, Randolph was better (imo, by a decent amount) on the offensive end.

Also, its pretty early to be talking about specific players. Because I have no clue who will be leaving nor where the Cavs will be drafting. But they need a SG and Wing in the worst way.

I think he's a good player but a bad fit. He needs the ball to be effective offensively, and with Kyrie running the show that isn't going to happen.

At this point I think I would more expect him to return to Duke for another season anyway.

As a freshman at MSU Randolph averaged 11 ppg and 7 ppg while shooting 59%. So I don't think it's fair to say Randolph was better at the same age. I have concerns with Sullinger and I think his max potential is Randolph, but I think it's the best comparison.

I just think he was more rounded with post moves and face up. I remember he played a pretty big role for that MSU team to the FF. Much like Marvin Williams did. It isnt always about production. He played less than half the game. Sullinger has better footwork, better shot, and is just a better player at this age. But I dont see hardly ANY moves out of him. Randolph displayed an array in his 1 year at MSU.

I agree with that. But I do think Sullinger is smart and a worker. So I believe he will find a way to adapt his game at the next level and be effective.

I also understand the lack of need for a PG in this draft. But in the 2nd round when everything is a crapshoot anyway, Id say take a flyer on Scott Machado of Iona or Damian Lillard of Weber State if either are still there. I think both have the games to be really solid back-up PGs for a long time in the league. Like a Speedy Claxton, Bobby Jackson, etc. Strong PG play is a big part of NBA 2nd teams, imo.

I'm probably being a homer, but I would LOVE to see Thomas Robinson in a Cavs uniform next season. Kid is a beast and looks NBA ready to me.

Cavs wont lose enough games to realistically be looking at Anthony Davis or T-Rob or etc.

Id exect them to (barring the lottery win) be picking around 10.

Under just about any other offensive scheme, I'd agree.. However, Byron likes to have two guards who can handle the ball in his princeton style of offense.

I just think Austin is a horrible fit @ Duke, though he has been playing much better lately -- I think his game excels in the NBA.

He's probably not my 1st or 2nd choice, but I'm not going to be mad if we take him.
