Romo's swing on that drive was hilarious....way left but drilled a woman in the face and bloodied her nose and bounced towards the fairway.

Charles Barkley -81 in last place.

Gary Sheffield -60.....you'd think he could annihilate the ball.

Have they showed any of his shots?

I saw him yesterday. His swing is awful.

I didn't see any....with that scoring system....probably shooting about 110 per 18.

Would you consider Chippewa a pretty nice course? I have not gotten to play much this summer. Only a few nicer courses. Scarlet a couple times and a newer semi-private course called Northstar in Sunbury. I'm looking for some nicer places to play. My course I play when I'm home is terrible. 6300 yards and I consistently am par or better. Is Chippewa long? Just trying to find some more newer, challenging courses.

Anyone else chime in if ya want. Any other nice public courses in the Central Ohio area.
I played Northstar in the D2 Title in '09. Nice course and I love the setup. Front 9 is basically a wide open links type setup, back switches to a tight narrow wooded area. Tough course, especially in 50 degree weather

I actually ate up Northstar once. I shot 78 and i thought i played hellagood golf. But 6 over is still 6 over. One hole has a 280 forced carry fyi.

What bounce do you have on your sand wedge?

In honor of Ernie Els' 273 and British Open win, Golf Galaxy is selling a dozen of the Callaway Hex Black Tour balls for $27.30. Normal price is 46. I went in there to get a dozen Pro V1x's and the guy was like...well you should probably check out this sale.

They also had the Callaway Razr Fit Tour Authentic Driver on sale for $273 down from $400.

Just a heads up. I've never hit these Hex balls before but a Tour quality ball for $20 less than I was going to spend so I figured I would grab a couple dozen. If I hate em, I can throw them on Ebay for 35.

Never hit the HEX. But I love Calloway. Probably my favorite golf ball. But if Hex is good enough for Ernie, its good enough for me, who likes Calloway anyway.

Playing Walden Ponds here in a couples minutes. Need to get my scores back on track. Driver has been a bit off, while my irons have been on. I swear I can never have a round where everything is on.

For someone who likes Callaway so much, you'd think you would be able to spell it!! :D Seriously though, I've tried alot of different golf balls, and prefer the Callaway Diablo. I'm not yet good enough to spend money on a tour quality ball, though.

My driver is almost always solid, never great, but solid. I can't seem to put my irons and chipping/putting together in the same round though. Last Saturday I was chipping/putting great, but my irons were horrible. Time before that, my irons were money, but I couldn't make a putt to save my life. Very frustrating.

My driver is almost always consistent. But a couple days ago it was just off. A few drives where I literally just shanked it 100 yards to the right. It was a very frustrating first 12 holes, and then I got the round together and went +1 the rest of the way. We willl see if i can get it going today.

lol. Stupid iPhone. Though, neither are correct words, but for some reason it corrects it to Calloway.

I've played the Black Hex balls. Very good overall performance, but nowhere near the spin ability of the Pro V1 or even the IsI. Can't say no at that price however.

Shot 45 on the front, 37 on the back. Talk about a tale of two 9's. Best 9 hole score of my career, which got me jacked

Couldn't believe it after the round was over. My driver was on point, and my irons were actually accurate. I made a 10 ft birdie putt on the last hole, along with a couple long par putts to save the round. I bitched about not being able to put a round together, and all it took was 4 budweisers.

I'm playing TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course (think Hole 16 the drunken par 3) tomorrow, it's dirt cheap to play there in the 110 degree heat

Played in a golf scramble this weekend, and although I have a blast playing, I'm always irritated when people start turning in their scores. It was a full field, and we were 5B, so we got to watch the team in front of us tee off quite a bit. The first hole, 3 of the 4 guys shanked it about 50 yards left, and the other guy popped one up about 125 yards. Then they hacked back and forth across the fairway a time or two. Now, they did improve a bit throughout the day, but I wouldn't call any of them even "good" golfers. Anyway, they go to announce the scores, and this team comes in at -13 and in 2nd place!?!? WTF. I understand teams are gonna shave a stroke or two, but that was ridiculous. The winning team was -15 and 3 of the 4 guys play and win almost every scramble they play around here. It just pisses me off that teams so blatantly cheat at these things.

Scrambles are often stacked unfairly.
