                                In all the Fenway retrospectives I saw yesterday it made me a bit sad when they mentioned that Tiger Stadium was opened on the exact same day, and would have tuned 100 yesterday as well. I never made it up there for a game, but it seems like it was a pretty cool ballpark. Loved the overhang of the upperdeck over the outfield. I remember all the hoopla when it was closed after 87 years in 1999. Never realized it and Fenway shared a birthday.
