I'm not sick of him yet, but it's definitely getting there. Whatever chick was on ESPN radio last night after 11pm was doing a whole segment on whether do you like him because he's underdog or because he's Asian. I wish people would STFU about the Asian-American aspect. He was born/raised in California; aside from his parents being Taiwanese, he's about as Asian as I am. It's not like he's fresh off the boat having to learn the American style like Yao had to.
What I'm most impressed with is he's carried a bunch of bums that are the Knicks to a 5-game winning streak, two of which coming against Utah and the Lakers. I think we're gonna be continue to be teased a little because the next few games are against the Toronto, Sacramento, and and New Orleans. Then they'll get tested next week by Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami.
Someone on ESPN radio this morning (think it was Bowen) said a Knicks fan tweeted Melo something along the lines of 'hey NY basketball is finally good so don't come back and screw it up' - Melo actually responded to the guy "Didn't know that, thanks for the update"
