Wooster posters.....Does Haas have plans to change the football uniforms in any way? Design? Or logo on helmets? Just curious.

Not sure about the Helmets changing again, as they just switched last season.

Wasnt a good switch, IMO.
Haas wore a polo at the public practice last week that had a weird looking W on it. Almost like 2 u's (uu)smushed together. I thought out loud on Twitter that maybe that was going to be a new helmet logo.
Might have to zoom in but you can see it here.

Not sure I've seen that logo on any Wooster gear.

The "W" in RR1's photo is that inverted Monster logo the basketball team started using a couple of years ago. No word on whether or not this will be incorporated into the football uniforms/helmets.

It is? Here's a close up...doesn't look anything like the monster energy logo inverted.

If nothing else, it's original...not a copycat logo like the Wisconsin W or an upside down monster energy logo.

Well now that I see it more clearly, it isn't the logo I thought it was.

Actually I think what us Wooster fans really want to see is what kind of footwear he was sporting. That might answer a lot of questions.

Got to see part of a team work out last week, all players had on matching work out clothes.
The begining has begun.
Little things like that show team pride.

Looking forward to August! Some tough games to start the season for a young team. Will be interesting to see how the year unfolds.THE4RINGZ;1234207 wrote:Got to see part of a team work out last week, all players had on matching work out clothes.

If any of you are on twitter...the DR's Mike Plant was saying that in response to Orrville getting turf, Wooster needs to start down the path of needed improvements at Follis.
His first suggestion was to improve sightlines (bleachers too far from field)...not an easy fix.
I'm sure turf was on his mind too...and from a justification standpoint, Wooster could easily make their case. Boys/girls soccer, boys/girls lax, football, a big band, youth football.
It's an easy sell IMO...just needs the right people involved.

Youth football and lacrosse youth-high school use Maurer Field. That is a long standing agreement with the school.

Yes, it's RR1's chart. I thought the link took you to his site, but I see there doesn't appear to be any correlation between that link and his site, so I added a credit to his site in the article.RedRider1;1238413 wrote:Because its mine..or because the last 7 years are easy on the eyes? Or both?

As far as Wooster improvements to the field...I herd from a reliable source that they have been trying to get interest in this for years and the community and businesses are not interested.
RR1 both. Lol!

Wooster just needs to return all varsity games back to Maurer Field...I loved playing there and it had character..the place just echoed and the locker rooms under the home side made it interesting for the visiting team!rrfan;1243171 wrote:As far as Wooster improvements to the field...I herd from a reliable source that they have been trying to get interest in this for years and the community and businesses are not interested.
