Red Lobster is a decent place to go but I'm still a little baffled why people order steak at a seafood restaurant. But I guess that's why there is usually some sort of surf-n-turf option on the menu.

Gotta go with Bonefish Grill if its a seafood chain restaurant night. Had a delicious meal there in Sarasota. Would have gone to a local place since we were on the Gulf but we used a gift card which basically made it a free meal. Can't wait for the new Bonefish to open in the Belden Village Area.

I think Carrabas is the best mid-level chain restaurant. Red Lobster is not bad, I'd rather spend a few more dollars if a Bonefish grille is available. Bahama Breeze is not bad, dislike Pappadeaux. Of course I like the Mahi at Outback. This should help.

...make no mistake Red Lobster is NOT a seafood restaurant. At least this story sounds like it might be true. The Tumbleweed story was a complete fabrication.

Totally agree... whenever the wife and I go out and we want steak we go to Carrabas. The filet their is one of the best I have had anywhere.

...I took my family out some years ago to a resturant (now out of business & for good reason) called Mark Pi's and when the meal arrived we all started to eat when my cousin had a cockroach come crawling out of his rice. I called the waitress over and she saw the roach & squashed it with a towel on the table & asked if we wanted something else instead. I told her no that we were leaving and not paying for anything. She said we had to pay for our drinks and I laughed at her and said I'd call the board of health if she made it an issue. She said ok, we left but I called the board of health anyway. I have no idea if this chain is still in existance, but if they are...NEVER go to them.

Mark Pi's was a money laundering op for an Asian cocaine ring. Mark Pi himself is still in jail I believe.

I just googled what you said about mark pi's and found not one link supporting what you said. Not calling you a liar, but can you provide some evidence. I would like to read about it

I wouldn't think the various Mark Pi chains would keep his name if that was true.

The Steak or Chicken Bryan at Carrabas is one of the best chain meals around.

Huh?

The tumbleweed situation is absolutely 100% true.

Matter of fact, the 50 dollar gift card came in yesterday.

I like Red Lobster. Not as great as some places but it hits the spot. I like to get the salmon crab stuff flounder.

There is a place in Celina called Bella's. It is an italian place but they have a parmasean encrusted salmon that is flippn amazing.
