I also couldn't name 7 in the UFC that could beat Fedor. I don't think he could beat Lesnar or maybe Carwin, Mir would also be fun to watch because to the submission battle but Mir's chin is suspect. He already beat Nog twice, Cro Cop as well. Couture would be interesting but I worry about Randy's chin against Fedor.

I just read that Strikeforce "released" Jake Shields. Shield wants to go to UFC as middleweight and wants his first fight against Anderson Silva.

Sorry, but while I'm a huge UFC fan, you are batcrap crazy if you think "at least" 7 UFC HWs would destroy Fedor.

I'd say the top 2 or 3 HWs would be a great fight with Fedor and the fights could go either way, but no way the "top 7" would destroy Fedor.

Your MMA credibility is completely shot.

Lesnar TKO IMO end of Rd 1 or early Rd 2. This is a fight that will end in KO or TKO though!

I love Lesnar and think he is the most dominate fighter there is besides maybe Silva but ring rust realy worries me. I cant remember a fighter with a lay off this long who has came back and been as good as he was before. I think you can just look at the Rampage fight and the Cung Lee fights as examples. If anyone can point out long lay offs with successful comebacks be my guest. All this said I still can't pick against Lesnar.

Carwin TKO round 1. Ring rust will do Brock in, IMO.

Bas Rutten vs Warpath (yeah, Warpath was a bad opponent who was only in their because Kimo failed a drug test).
But it was a 7 year layoff and I think he would have beat Kimo too and he was a top tier guy at that point. Looked good. But again it doesn't mean much because he had to fight a garbage opponent.

My predictions, starting from the undercard

Jon Madsen vs. Karlos Vemola-a battle of two new and undefeated heavyweights. I haven't seen anything of Vemola, and most of his opponents are not names I recognize. Madsen has a decision win over Mostapha Al-Turk at UFC 112, so I think he wrestles his way to a decision here.

Daniel Roberts vs Forrest Petz-Roberts is coming off of his first loss, a vicious TKO to John Howard, and Petz is a bit of a journeyman. Cleveland native, does hold a victory over Luigi Fioravanti and Dan Hardy, but most of the fights against bigger names he's lost to. I am going to go with roberts, he looked good before getting clipped against Howard.

Gerald Harris vs David Branch-Branch is 6-0 with 3 tkos and 3 submissions, so he appears to be well rounded. Harris is 16-2 and riding a 9 fight win streak. Harris will wrestle and ground and pound his way to a victory. I am thinking round 2, but he might pull it off in round 1.

Kendall Grove vs. Goran Reljic-Grove holds a very average 6-4 record in the UFC, he appears to lack that ability to finish as seen against Munoz in his last fight. Reljic has only been defeated once, a unanimous decision to CB Dolloway at UFC 110. I think this is an interesting fight, as both guys have pretty good submission skills. I think you may see a stand up battle here. I think Grove wins, in an effort to possibly prevent being cut from the UFC.

Seth Petruzelli vs Ricardo ROmero-Petruzellis marquee win is Kimbo Slice, and Romero has a submission win over James McSweeney, this is about as much a toss up as can be. I will go with Petruzelli winning via better ring entrance.....

Brendan Schaub vs. Chris Tuchscherer-Schaub has tasted defeat once in 6 fights via vicious KO from Roy Nelson, Tuchscherer is 18-2 with his only losses coming to the very pedestrian Gabriel Gonzaga and Travis Wiuff. Tuchscherer trains with Lesnar, so you know he will be very battle tested. He may be too big (literally) of a challenge for Schaub. I think the Crowbar wins by TKO somewhere in rd 2 or 3.

George Sotiopoulos vs Kurt Pellegrino-george is coming off a decision victory of Joe Stevenson and Pellegrino is coming off a submission victory over Fabricio Camoes. George improves every fight. I think he wins this fight by decision, but he may pull a sub off his back.

Krzysztof Soszynski vs Stephan Bonnar-A rematch from a battle in which Krzysztof won via doctor stoppage late in the fight. This will be a war, guaranteed. Possible FOTN material here. Tough to pick a winner, as the first fight was pretty even before the cut. I will take Bonnar by decision.

Chris Lytle vs. Matt Brown-Should be a lot of stand up fighting here. I will take the veteran Lytle via TKO.

Yoshihiro Akiyama vs Chris Leben- I am not buying into the Sexyama hype yet. He almost turned the fight down saying Leben wasn't a big enough name for him. I think Leben makes him regret that. Leben in the upset of the night, via TKO.

Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin-If the cage doesn't break when these two behemoths enter, this is a huge toss up. Lesnar's chin hasn't been tested and Carwin hits hard. But Gabriel Gonzaga took Carwin down fairly easily and if Carwin ends up on bottom against a mountain like Lesnar, his face will look like hamburger like Mir. I will take Lesnar here via ground and pound TKO
