The one part of that unionizing article that most people, who say the fighters aren't "taken care of" enough by the UFC, don't understand is that the UFC pays for 100% of the medical bills for all fighters who get any injuries in a UFC event.

Now, does the UFC pay if the guy gets hurt in training? No, but come on, find me another fight organization/promotion (including boxing) where the promotion takes care of all medical bills.

I am pretty sure all shows at all levels have to carry insurance to cover fighters injured at their promotions, but I may be wrong.
