I wasn't going to buy it because it just sounded like a main event ppv but it turned out to be decent. Koscheck isn't exciting but neither is GSP. I don't care for either of them but I kind of hope Koscheck finds a way to pull out a victory. Daley is a douche for the sucker punch. Shogun had to beat Machida twice just to get the belt. Crazy. What are the chances Kimbo signs with Strikeforce?

Not sure what will happen with Kimbo. Japan I think is where he goes, he could become a superstar over there!! There is no doubt Rua is getting to old form. His first fights in the UFC against Coleman and Griffin he looked terrible but then it started coming back KO'ing Liddell and IMO beating Machida in fight 1, and that performance last night was fantastic. I'll eat crow here as I didn't even think Rua should have gotten the first shot at Machida so crow tastes terrible!! I do expect Daley to sign with Strikeforce or Bellator possibly. I think GSP dominates Kos again but it will not be an exciting fight for most, I would expect 25 minutes of wrestling but as a wrestler myself that is quite fine by me!! People don't understand or the casual MMA fan doesn't understand how big grappling and wrestling is to be successful in MMA!

Exactly. When I watch two Wrestlers go at it, I appreciate it even more.Fab1b wrote: Not sure what will happen with Kimbo. Japan I think is where he goes, he could become a superstar over there!! It did look like he took Daley down but I didn't notice that live I think the camera cut away and that clip stopped short so I am actually not 100% on that.

The camera cuts away where your gif ends fab... I replaced my youtube video above with a longer, working (for now) one that shows it.
When the ref spun him around at the end there it looks like he was able to maintain balance, then the ref put him back up against the cage.

Brian Cushing (suspended Houston LB for violating NFL's steriod policy) has been trianing MMA with Jay Glazer and Randy Couture, love Glazer's take on Cushing:

Cushing has been doing MMA training with Jay Glazer, who wrote the story for FOX.
And Glazer has expressed disappointment with Cushing.
"In today's NFL guys have to be fully responsible for what goes in their bodies," Glazer wrote on his Twitter account. "I don't care if it was steroidal or not, it's on the player! ..
"Right now, no, we will not be training him. We do not want to be associated w any of this crap. Gotta cool off b4 we make a final decision."
Glazer has been working with former UFC champion Randy Couture to train Cushing.
"I talked w Couture last night, we are both extremely pissed about the whole mess," Glazer wrote. "just being associated w any of this crap."

Daley made about as much contact with that punch after the fight as he did with his "knee" to Kos's head lol.

As much as Kos LnP to a victory and I don't like that at all (plus Kos is a douche), Daley deserved to be banned.LTrain23 wrote: Paul Daley has been released by the UFC.
Dana White said "I don't care if Daley becomes the #1 p4p fighter in MMA, he won't be in our octagon again"
Just saw this on MMA Live on ESPN 2 a few minutes ago.
I said that right after the punch, told the people watching it at my house that "Daley just threw his last punch in the Octagon".

Daley apologizes.

I still think his suspension/ban from the UFC is warranted, but his apology does seem sincere.
Oh, and Kos is still a douche, faking the knee to head thing.

I'd be surprised if he didn't. HUGE step up for Nelson and I don't think he'll remotely be able to handle Junior.

That fight is determined by whether or not Nelson can get dos Santos to the ground.Heretic wrote: ^^

If he can, Nelson wins easy as he's a better ground fighter. If he can't dos Santos KOs him.

This should be good fight...Dos Anjos has elite BJJ skills so look for him to try and take this to the ground...It seems like all of Guida's fights are entertainingThe_Crosby_Show wrote: Clay Guida vs. Rafael dos Anjos targeted for UFC 117 in August
