I kind of figure that the fight was meant to determine who would get the title shot. Not sure if Silva will ever be given a shot at the LHW title or if its more likely he fights GSP down a division. I think Dana is kind of forced to make Silva move outside middleweight at this point. No one there can stay with Silva and Silva refuses to fight them yielding boring fights.

You could say the same thing about GSP. No on in that division can touch him, but he won't go up in weight. GSP could easily go up to middleweight IMO. He looks very, very lean at 170. He normally walks around at like 185-190 I believe so he can fight at that weight. Silva already looks very lean at 185. 185 seems like a fine weight. If not, make it a catch weight fight. Either way, we have two guys in their prime wasting away while the rest of the division is down.
Oh, and sticking to the topic of tonight I would just like to point out again how messed up that eye was.

GSP is the one who would have to go up, as Silva has fought at 205 before, so 185 is about the max he can take going down. He fought 170 many years ago, but it is not realistic now.GSP could easily go up to middleweight IMO. He looks very, very lean at 170. GSP is kind of a bitch though about going up in weight, he seems content to plow through nobodies at 170 instead of challenging himself a little and going up in weight. 185 is entirely realistic for him without majorly sacrificing and being at a huge size disadvantage.
