Since the OP mentioned Jon Jones and Silva that has been on my mind. I am a huge Jones fan and would love to see it but I don't see the UFC doing that. They are going to take their time with Jones and let him climb to the top of the 205 ladder the right way.

Dana White says the next time Silva acts like he did during his past fight, he will get fired or banned from MMA!

No doubt. Jones will get a few more fights under his belt before anything like that is discussed.

Health permitting, UFC 118 in Boston in August could include Edgar vs. Penn II, Florian vs. Maynard:

Oh man, I'd love to see that Florian/Maynard fight...that could be a good one...even though Maynard doesn't always have the most exciting fights, they're both good on the ground.

I think that putting A. Silva on a free PPV would be a great idea!! Most fighters...(silva i'm sure) has their pays based on PPV numbers as well as their base pay. Having him fight on Spike would eliminate this bonus. Don't plan on buying another Silva PPV for a long time!!

I think Mousasi and Henderson will be victorious tonight. I can't pick the other fight because I don't know much about either fighter.

Lawal is a beast of a wrestler. Great cardio and strength but this will be by far the biggest test he has in his young MMA career.

Lawal gets a few takedowns but Mousasi landing shot after shot from his back and ends the rd with Lawal's back. Mousasi clearly takes rd 2.

I got Lawal ahead 3-1 rds. Lawal wins 1, 3, and 4 IMO. Mo with the takedowns and more active from the top in rd 4.
