Let it build - I'm sure if Jones and Gus win their next fights they'll book it right away. I think Glover can beat Jones though.

But why leave it up to chance? What if one of them or both of them lose? Loses all its steam then. Seems risky.

It's not like Chuck and Tito...these guys are what, 25 years old? Guarantee they meet again.

I'm with you there but very rarely do you get a chance to out together a mega fight like this. This is the type of fight that could put Jones over the top as a huge mega star and a PPV star as well. The UFC and more importantly MMA needs that for mainstream growth.

Bisping injures his eye again and will have surgery on it, Lyoto Machida stepping in to fight Mark Munoz in England.

Yeah I think it's going to be a tremendous fight, the second fight was incredible although mostly one sided.

Pretty good free card tomorrow night on FS1.
Shields vs Maia
Erick Silva vs Stun Gun Kin
Thiago Silva vs Matt Hamill
Joey Beltran vs Fabio Maldonado
Raphael Assuncao vs Tj Dillashaw
Palhares vs Mike Pierce

Hope Shields and Maia is a great grappling match, don't wanna see them stand for 5 rounds. Maldonado vs Beltran will be VIOLENT, if anyone has watched those guys fight you know why I'm saying that lol

Hoping Maia pulls through, Shields is one of the most boring fighters i've seen in the UFC. Can't think of a single fight I've enjoyed of his that he's won. I did enjoy him getting knocked out against Ellenburger ha.

Shields has never been exciting but he did have some good performances in Strikeforce, I'm not sure what happened when he came to the UFC. He's a winner though.

He was 5 seconds away from being choked out by Mayhem, i think he's severely overrated.

I guess based on skill set you could say that but if you look at his resume you can't. Look at the list of guys that he has beaten:
Akiyama
Woodley
Herman
Kampmann
Dan Henderson
Paul Daley
Robbie Lawler
Mayhem
Mike Pyle
Carlos Condit and Okami in the same night LOl
Jeremy Jackson
He even won 2 rounds against GSP and has only lost 2 times in the past 9 years

Boring yes definitely, I'd like to see a high level grappling match with a lot of transitions and sweeps with Maia but this fight could potentially be a stinker. There are some great fights on the card though.

Could be a tough night for Hamill, Thiago Silva looked nasty last time out.

yeah I thought dillashaw won to.

Im glad he didn't though. I think this card has some great betting lines and went ahead and put some money on Assuncao, Shields, and Palhares who are all underdogs.

Just put $50 on Hamill as my home pick since Assuncao put me up about $125
