http://mmajunkie.com/news/18150/ufc-111s-georges-st-pierre-on-dan-hardy-i-want-to-take-him-out-as-fast-as-i-can.mma
"The longer a fight is, the more you can get hurt," St-Pierre recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio). "I want to take him out as fast as I can and go home."

Boxer James Toney has signed with the UFC:
http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_ylt=Agime_Of_OnuAOq7bK0Z3Qs9Eo14?slug=ki-toney030310&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
Here’s the thing with James: We were sitting around finishing the deal and talking and he told me that he’d been talking to Strikeforce. He said they were talking to him about a fight with Herschel Walker. James said to me, ‘Do you know what I’d do to that [expletive]?’ He looked at me and said, ‘You know, I have a lot of pride and I’d never do anything to embarrass myself. I’m a fighter. I want to fight. And don’t ever underestimate me.’ ”

The chance of a long-rumored fight with Fedor Emelianenko appears to be a longshot. Emelianenko will not appear on Strikeforce's second CBS-televised event, which is set for April 17 in Nashville, Tenn., and he is currently in a contract dispute with the San Jose, Calif.-based promotion. He is rumored to be fighting on the May 15 card against an unnamed opponent.

While Overeem counts the top-ranked Russian among his targets stateside, there is too much red tape between them.

"Fedor doesn't want to fight," Overeem said. "His manager doesn't want to fight. That's basically the message I'm getting out of all of this. The management said, 'Yeah, we want to fight Alistair, but first, Alistair must fight somebody else.' Basically, you need two parties to agree on a fight. Otherwise it's not going to happen.

"And now, I don't know what is going to happen because I think [Fedor] might want to leave Strikeforce. I'm not really occupied with the situation; I'm just focused on myself and my training."

Overeem was more than happy, though, to take on Rogers, who has called him out on several occasions and demanded he defend his title or give up the belt.
Fedor's managers are ass clowns.

It's funny Dana signed the 41 year old Toney. He would have absolutely blasted Strikeforce if they would have got Toney instead of him.

UFC planning live UFC Fight Night 22 for April 17, going head to head with Strikeforce on CBS that night but if that happens Stirkeforce may move theirs back a week and go head to head with the WEC's first PPV:

Guess I will DVR one and watch the other. Right now Strikeforce card is pretty sweet, looking forward to see the matchups UFC will put on that night.

Pulver also was right about the previous match putting everyone to sleep. It's rare that I flip channels during the middle of rounds, but that one made me do so.

The Jorgenson match seemed like a textbook example of a small town bad-ass who thinks he's the shit because he won a couple of matches in some nothing local promotion stepping up against a true professional fighter. I don't think his opponent will be getting any big-time card matches in the near future.

Benavidez just TRASHED Torres! Man, that's what I love about WEC. In the UFC, most of the champs just seem untouchable. Here, you can be a god one day and a pedestrian upper-card guy the next. Torres was considered near-unbeatable and now Bowles and Benavidez have both dismantled him.

Pulver needs to hang them up. The game has just passed him up, especially at the lower weight class.
