Did everyone see that former osu wrestler lance Palmer has began his mma career. He won his first fight and trains with team alpha male.

Yeah Mir vs Cormier is actually interesting. It will let is know where Cormier will stand when he enters the UFC next year

Mir is taking a big pay cut since he always gets a cut of PPVs to go fight Cormier. I say kudos to Mir for taking a fight that has no real upside for him.Raw Dawgin' it;1234742 wrote:Why can Mir crossover but Melendez is fighting another bum?
I'm sure the UFC is adding some backroom 'bonus' money for Mir to take this fight, but it still has to be far less than his normal PPV cut would get him. Plus, his sponsorship money will probably go down since it will be on Strikeforce and not PPV.
I can't wait for the fight though, it should be a great matchup.
I believe Mir is a much better overall fighter, but great wrestlers who hit hard are terrible matchups for Mir. I think Cormier wins unless he is dumb enough to take Mir down.

I know he's getting well compensated, but, i read that Dana said he would not cherry pick strickforce fighters. I think it's hypocritical to bring over a UFC Star but let the best lightweight not in the UFC waste away fighting bums.

So many variables on when Diaz could be back, it's tough to predict.
Maybe they give him Hendricks/Kampmann winner, then a title shot after that. I would like to see him fight Rory after he destroys BJ personally. Speaking of Rory did anyone see Rory's comments after Penn said something innocent about wanting to get revenge on Tri-Star?
