Which fight, I'm watching a recording on my dvr and am 15 minutes behind because of kids and diapers and whatnot.

I'm probably crazy, but I'm picking Mir.
Dos Santos has serious KO power, but Mir can hold his own.. If he can get it to the ground I like his chances.
Contrasting styles, should be a fun fight!

Yeah, I was definitely crazy. Dos Santos dominated that round and almost ended it.

Mir was about 15 seconds shy of being done. Lucky...

LOL.

Mir: "Mandalay Bay, May 26th, Las Vegas."

That was easy. Mir didn't even try to get DS down after his first attempt was stuffed. Dos Santos just picked him apart.

Yeah, it also featues Crazy Tim Crudear a lot and another small time fighter who looked promising. Is Driven out on DVD or available anywhere to watch. I got fightville from VUDU thru xbox but its still supposedly in theathers i just couldnt find it anywhere near Columbus. That the Dustin Porier documentary?
[Completely disagree, that dude is a really good fighter and it wouldn't totally surprise me if he won. /QUOTE]
BTW you still think Bigfoot is on par with the top UFC HW's
Mir and Bigfoot both looked like they wanted their fights to just end they were beaten mentally before they lost physically. Mir especially looked like he lost his heart after a failed takedown attempt and a few hard as hell punches.

Joe Stevenson was worse, as well as DeWees on the one season of TUF.hoops23;1182614 wrote:My god... That was the most blood I've ever seen in a fight I think...
But it was in the top 4 or 5 bloodiest fights I've ever seen.

Not a bad card. I can't believe how much power Big Country has. He still surprises me every fight.
Velasquez completely dominated Bigfoot, but he probably couldn't see a thing after he got cut open. That was one of the nastiest cuts I've seen. Can the doctor try to seal a cut in the middle of a round, or can he only wipe it off? The stoppage didn't do much for Bigfoot, as the blood just kept spilling out as soon as it was wiped off.
I was surprised Mir didn't try for more takedowns after he got in pretty deep on his one and only attempt. He knew there was no chance in hell that he could stay in the fight long standing up, yet he stood there the whole fight and took punches until one finally knocked him off his feet. Who's next for Dos Santos? Will Overeem get another shot, or did he ruin any chances at that?

Hm anyone think Brock is coming back? He hasn't been to the last 3 WWE Monday Night shows and then he shows up at a UFC event.

Funny you say that, because I just got done reading this from the Bleacher Report:bigdaddy2003;1182668 wrote:Hm anyone think Brock is coming back? He hasn't been to the last 3 WWE Monday Night shows and then he shows up at a UFC event.
"And hey, there was also an appearance from former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Dana White played coy in the post-fight press conference, but readily admitted that there's a good chance Lesnar will return to the UFC after a short stint in WWE."
I think he should stay away from UFC, although he probably does increase ratings when he fights. He just isn't on the same level as the top fighters in the heavyweight division.

I agree bout lesner he hasn't been the same fighter since he got sick. Maybe he needed the WWE and their steroid testing to recover and maybe relocate the old Brock.

I caught that too. Joe mentioned this and pointed out that MGM Grand won't like what Mir said since right above Mir's head read MGM Grand but Goldberg then said that they are under the same umbrella(or something like that) because MGM Resorts owns both. Joe acted as if he didnt know this, which I had no idea either(not that I keep up with it since I have never been to Vegas).Azubuike24;1182628 wrote:LOL.

I think Brock is signed on for so many appearances in a year. They are spreading him out so they can use him when the road to Wrestlemania comes. He should be back in July sometime so he can wrestle Triple H at Summer Slam.

I hope he stays in the WWE Overeem, destroyed him with ease and JDS would just kill him.sportchampps;1182691 wrote:I agree bout lesner he hasn't been the same fighter since he got sick. Maybe he needed the WWE and their steroid testing to recover and maybe relocate the old Brock.

Yeah, I forgot about Brock only signing on for some many appearances with the WWE. I guess it was just wishful thinking. Ha

Mayhem Miller released
http://mmajunkie.com/news/28927/ufc-boss-confirms-jason-mayhem-miller-done-with-organization.mma"Something happened backstage afterwards … 'Mayhem' is done," UFC president Dana White said, addressing a large gathering of media members after UFC 146 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. When pressed about the specifics of the situation, White declined.
"Just some [expletive] I don't want to talk about," White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).

I've been a Mayhem fan but he deserved to have his ass beat the way he was talking and acting going into the fight. You just got destroyed by Michael Bisping and may be in desperate need of a win and you act like a jackass and clown around? He was saying that if he lost to Central Ohio's own CB Dollaway that he would retire and just trashing the dude's skill, then he goes out and gets dominated by him.

I think Brock would be one of the only HW's with a chance to beat Junior. His pure mass, strength and athleticism could cause problems if he could get JDS down. I think Brock will come back and will fight Mir for the trilogy fight.

I don't think Brock can take JDS, I used to think that but after his last few fights I no longer am under that impression. Brock would still take out 80% of the HW's but the top few like Cain and JDS I don't see it. He better learn to take a punch better first!
