What happened in Tito/Rashad 1, I can't remember and don't feel like searching for it.

I would tend to agree generally but what is to be said of his performance at 132? Did he get lucky, is he back, or is Bader overrated?

I don't recall a part 1 of this match up.

They fought once, going to look it up

I was thinking it was a draw, it was at UFC 73 so it makes sense

Just looked it up and yes it was a draw. Says that Tito was penalized for holding onto the fence. Ha

First round no one really won, second round Tito definitely won, third round I think was Rashad. Least that's what I remember.

This.

I re-watched it and had Tito winning 29-28 if it wasn't for the point deduction.

They had no one else to fight on 3 weeks notice. Tito is coming off a huge win over Bader who is a top 10 LHW. They needed a huge draw and big name for the main event. They wanted Machida but apparently his management was asking for too much money. Machida stated that he would fly there tomorrow and fight if they paid him what they pay Anderson Silva. Ideally this is a more competitive fight than what Lyoto and Rashad would have been. Tito has a very realistic shot at winning this fight and putting himself right back in a title fight.

To be fair, his 5 fight losing streak was against:
Matt Hamill Decision (unanimous)
Forrest Griffin Decision (split)
Lyoto Machida Decision (unanimous)
Rashad Evans Draw (unanimous)
Chuck Liddell TKO (punches)

None of those are guys you have to be embarrased about losing to. Not saying Tito will win this fight or can get the title back. But I think people prematurely call him washed up. He isn't getting KTFO like Chuck yet so calm down.

Evans is such a bitch. I would love to see him lose to tito. I bet tito will be a huge underdog in this fight, probably another 5/1 or 6/1 odds.

Dana: Leben and Sonnen offered to take the fight. "Both those nuts texted me, I told them they weigh 185 pounds, thanks for texting"
Intresting....

Because Rashad has nothing for Lyoto, will get killed in the stand up and can't get the fight to the ground, Tito and Rashad is a more even fight.

Tito is at +300 right now, could be a good idea to put some money down on him.

Idk but maybe the fact that he didn't wanna pay Machida the extra money to make that fight happen, would have been more of a true number 1 contender fight.

Anderson Silva hasn't lost in the UFC and Machida is 1-2 in his last 3. I'd tell him to fuck off too if he was asking for Silva money

Not sure how you can call someone who has been beaten once in their career( I don't consider the Rampage fight a loss since he out struck him 2 to 1) overrated. Someone who has beaten the likes of Stephan Bonnar, Rich Franklin, BJ Penn, Nakamura, Sokoujou, Tito, Thiago Silva, Rashad Evans , Shogun and Randy Couture. Maybe the most complete mixed martial artist on the planet.
