If 30/40, No picks, 103.1 QBR in the Super Bowl is inaccurate than what is accurate? 40/40?

Manning was accurate, and his receivers are great. I'm bracing myself to get sick of hearing about New York for the next 7 months :)

Gronkowski would have had that tipped Hail Mary if he wouldn't have broke stride to put him in better position to adjust to where the ball might be tipped. He did the highest percentage thing by breaking stride, but it just didn't work out!

Looks like a perfectly thrown ball to me.

See above, where I already called him out for saying something to that affect.

It's dumber to say Eli is in the same class as Peyton and Brady than it is to call him mediocre in my opinion.

He's been very clutch, but you can't discount the regular season, where 80+% of the games are played. He's better than mediocre, but he's a borderline top 10 QB at best. He was better than that this season, but unless this is the 1st step to him going Peyton 2003-2010 there is no comparison to be made.

So I disagree the Pats' WRs are better.
Joe Montana had one of the best trio of receivers ever does that mean he is not an Elite QB also?

He's not better than Peyton but hes definitely a top 10 QB and a future Hall of Famer. The better than Peyton talk this week was silly.

Mediocre is probably an unfair word. I'd put him in the top 15, but probably not top 10.

He's going to the Hall of Fame just because he won two Super Bowls, not from his overall play.

But on the other hand you cannot discount the Playoffs and Super Bowls where 100% of Championships are won.
Dan Marino was an awesome regular season QB not so much in the Playoffs and Super Bowl.

Pro Sports teams have this silly rule where every member of the team including trainers get Rings when they win the Championship. I know you are probally too young to realize that.

Robert Horry was clutch at the end of games, just like Eli.

They were/are both blessed with incredible talent around them. They are both not elite.

Eli manning is Robert Horry

Already mentioned, but congrats to Akron Zips Chase Blackburn AND Domenik Hixon, each picking up their second Super Bowl rings! Hixon was injured in week 2, which incidentally paved the way for Victor Cruz to emerge.

Might be a little early for that kind of a statement, but I guess if you are going to say you don't care about Montana's trio, it really doesn't matter.

Big difference between being a QB and a spot up 3 pt shooter.

Eli keeps his team in games then leads them on game winning 4th quarter drives....you cant compare that to basketball.

Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton (when healthy), Stafford, Big Ben, Romo, and Rivers are all guys I take over Eli.

Ryan, Schaub, Flacco, and Vick are right there with him. Not so hard.
