Hi!
Yes, I saw Avatar movie last night. I saw Avatar last night with my friends and it was absolutely amazing. Besides the visual effects being the best I have ever seen till now. Last battle is too amazing. With the realism and a compelling plot, I got hooked immediately.

Interesting.....

Per the following link: "I made a point to mention that Pandora wasn't the only moon shown orbiting the distant Polyphemus and the filmmaker acknowledged that his story ideas for the "Avatar" universe aren't boxed in by Pandora"

Saw it today. Loved every minute of it. Absolutely breathtaking visuals and a great story.

There was definitely a political objective in this movie as well, though I won't get into that.

Avatar is going to do for this generation, what Star Wars did for the previous. Amazing characters, amazing world, amazing storylines, etc...

James Cameron has ANOTHER masterpiece.

I was absolutely blown away by the effects and the movie itself both. I never wanted it to end. And i usually can't stand Sci-Fi movies but i gave this one a chance.

Cracks my top 5 ever. I was that impressed.
I'm not a big sci-fi fan but I wouldn't say I can't stand that genre--but other than that I feel the same way you do. Unreal. Cracks my top 10 at least, possibly my top 5 (which is something a movie hasn't done for quite awhile). Can't wait for the next one.

One of the kids I went with dropped some acid before the movie (we saw it in 3D was well)...I honestly don't know how he could even sit through it lmao!

It took me awhile to focus during the 3D viewing. But after I did, wow...

Saw the 3D version and really liked it. Not much of a sci-fi fan either.

Saw this in 3-D, thoroughly enjoyed this movie. While the plot was predictable, it didn't really matter, as the action, effects and characters were a lot of fun. Highly recommend this movie, greatly exceeded my expectations after originally seeing the trailer.

Hadn't planned on going to see it as I said on the first page, but some friends wanted to go and after hearing how it looked, I wanted to see it on the big screen in 3D instead of waiting for DVD.

While the look of the movie is amazing, I thought the story was kind of predictable. I also kept thinking I was seeing a remake of Dances with Wolves, but still glad I saw it in a theater in 3D.

Just saw this movie today finally, and WOW! Unbelievable. Only one word can describe it: revolutionary. One of the best movies I have ever seen. Definitely in my top 10 list, maybe even top 5 (and I have seen a ton of movies).

Movie was dumb. 3d was ok.

I would rather watch dances with wolves or the last samuri. They were much better.

I'm headed out now to see it in IMAX 3D because I was told that was the way to go. I still don't think that this movie looks very good but everyone has told me that it's amazing and that even if the movie itself isn't great you need to see it because it's so visually stunning. I guess we'll see.

You wont be dissapointed.

And Last Samurai? That was a good movie, but I think it was the last one you saw if that was what came to mind when thinking of better movies than Avatar.

Pretty solid movie. I was pretty impressed. I think some movies are ruined when there a political opinion pushed (The new Day The Earth Stood Still) but the 3D made up for it in Avatar. Predictable story but 3D that is unprecedented.
