Need some recommendations on good headphones. I'm tired of buying the cheap ones that break within weeks. I wouldn't mind noise canceling as I see Senheiser has some good ones available. I'm looking for over the ear ones. Please don't recommend beats by dre. I'm so tired of seeing those on my ship.

Beats by Dre drive me fucking nuts. Mostly because I see kids in HS wearing them. Where do they get the fucking money for these? These are the same kids who have parents who can't pay school fees.

I think the answer is obvious.....

Beat by Dre are really nice though but I doubt I'd ever spend the money for them. I go with Bose if you want noise cancelling headphones.

It's all about the logo/branding/marketing when it comes to Beats by Dre.

Beats by Dre are good headphones. Not great, but good. The bass is very good, but the overall sound lacks a bit.

50 Cent has new headphones that are a bit better overall than Dre's.

Beats are sweet I will say that. I have a pair of like $60 over the ear noise cancelling Sony's, I love them. I don't know the model off hand though.

beats by dre are bass heavy, but good. I just sold a pair of the dre earbuds on ebay(they came with my phone).

I prefer the sony noise cancelling ones that I have...not sure of the model number. My kid swears by the over the ear skullcandy headphones...they are about 50 bucks.

For the love of god do not get beats unless you listen to hip hop exclusively. For the money there are better and more balanced headphones/buds/in-ears. The Monster Cable of headphones (IE: Not bad products per se but way, way overpriced for what they are because of their massive marketing efforts).

Skull Candy is the way to go. WAY cheaper than Dre's, they are affordable, and have very good quality. Also with Nifty designs :)

I use Skull Candy ear buds at work. They sound decent and we're only $10 at TJ Maxx.
