There were a few tight matches tonight with AC. We pretty much had to win every match with all the forfeits, and thats awfully tough to do against a stud team like AC. Congrats to AC, this could be start of a little run for them. Final score 43-27 I think. CV won at 106, 120, 126 138, 145, and 160. Lost aclose overtime match at 152. I believe we had forfeits at 132, 182, 195, 220, hwt.

That is a nice win for clayton, what a way to walk into sectionals, has to build his confidence. The msl has some very good freshmen and sophmores, I have a feeling the buckeye is going to be very interesting with atleast 4 teams having a chance to win it next year.

Yes.....good to see Tullius on the mat again before his career ended. He has a lot of work to do to have a shot to do anything in the post-season. Weight is an issue....think I heard he cut a bunch to get to where he was tonight.....with a ways to go. But at least he is back and he has a fighting chance. CW is off until sectionals....so he has to make the most out of every practice session.

Possible CW league contenders.....Calloway (152, 160?)....Lacey (220-285?....he beat both Kinzer and Jewell tonight) Maybe the AC kid at 220?

what was calloways record at 152 &160? From what the coaches on here mentioned earlier, you have to have wrestled atleast 4 matches in any particular weight class to be eligable.

I don't know.....he bumped back and forth between the 2 weights. Last night he beat Farrell at 152, and then bumped to 160 and pinned Koehl. I assume he wrestled at least 4 matches at one of the 2 weight classes. I'm guessing he should be in the top 3...

He did not wrestle Koehl he was out due to injury in his first match that was his backup a freshman.

Without having all records in front of me this is what I’m thinking for the Aces for league honors.
113 – Shannon – 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] or 3[SUP]rd
[/SUP]120 – Hoffman – he had some loses may bump in to 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] if other guys didn’t get the allotted 4 matches.
132 – Dilley – 2[SUP]nd[/SUP], lost to Nace beat Boswell.
145 – Johnson, not sure here possibly could get 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] again depends on the 4 match minimum. Although lost a tough one last night to CV kid, probably pushed him out of running.
152 – Horn – 1[SUP]st[/SUP]
170 – Tipton 1[SUP]st[/SUP]
182 – Minnard – possibly 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] I know had losses lost to HT & TV not sure if any more.
195 – Chenetski – 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] or 3rd loss to Crum in OT.
220 – Genders – ???

LE beat Carroll 36-30. Didn't get complete info until this morning, so we'll have it in Saturday's paper.

Congrats to Amanda on winning its first MSL title in program history. Very solid team.

Also thought Circleville wrestled hard last night, and that dual was entertaining.

Good luck to all MSL-Buckeye teams in the postseason.

If he weighed in at 152-54 he would still be eligible. If he weighed in at 154.1 or more he forfeits 145.

He has not decided what weight he will be at in the post season. He told me last night he will either be at 138 or 145

Calloway 6-0 at 160, only wrestled 152 one time and that was against TV. Lacey was either 4-0 or 5-0 at 220, but definitely had his 4 matches at 220. Pretty sure I read Jewell (HT) beat the AC wrestler, which would give Lacey first team. Calloway should be first team as well.

You're probably right there in the middle of what would, could & will happen...I will say 12,but think we could get as many as 15-17 if things go their way.
