I just wanted to send a "shout out" to the 182 lb wrestler from Logan Elm. Unfortunately both of the LE duals tonight came down to 182 being the last bout (which happened to decide both matches). The kid wrestled really tough, but just came up short on both accounts.......you could see the pain on his face. It's bad enough when this happens to any wrestler, but to have it happen twice in one night in consecutive matches.....well you get the picture.
We all know that the last match is "magnified" when this happens.....fair or not. That kid gave it all he had.......can't ask for much more than that. Maybe next time the wrestling gods will provide a different fate.

Cruiser, don't worry I didn't jump, I had an insight that the aces had a good squad and knew it could go either way. They showed up to wrestle and did just that. Kudos to them. Go luck to them in the post season. That being said,cruiser_96;1059785 wrote:Someone is going to hace to talk USMC down from a ledge!!! I am VERY impressed with an Ace win over the Vikings.
What matters is the end of February and the first weekend in march. The msl is great to win but ya know I'd rather have some state placers and 4 or so state qualifiers than a league title. Personally.

Its all about match-ups! AC should beat HT handily. The top 4 spots in league might have been decided last night.bush;1059812 wrote:Licking Valley beat Hamilton 43-21 and circleville by like 18 or so. The Amanda and hamilton will be a good dual because Licking valley beat both of them by about the same score. Hamilton and circleville tied but hamilton won on crietria

Licking Valley did beat AC in a dual but that dual took place in the second week of december. AC has a better line up now, last week at the Sheridan Invitational Amanada scored a 2nd place finsh over Licking Valley

USMCdevil2005, you are correct. If the Aces keep wrestling the way they did last night, I think they may send 2-4 to state, but you never know.. Awesome night of wrestling for the Aces. Amanda has been on Teays' tail for the last couple of years, and last night they finally climbed to the top of the mountain. Teays is an awesome program, a powerhouse in this area and has been for many years of course.

Amanda is the real deal the dual between them and TEAYS was intense. alot of matches excellent. BC as usual had a few solid wrestlers step up aainst both AC and Teays. Congrats to Horn, Gibson looked horrible not what most are used to seeing hopefully he gets back in gear.

I agree, if they could field a full squad with kids like they already have, we may have been congratulating BC on winning 2 duals last night, they are very good. BC's coaches maximize their full potential that's for sure, I love the way the BC kids wrestle.USMCdevil2005;1059867 wrote: I have to give a big big shout out to bloom Carroll and coach Ankrom and Vial, they seriously are doing great things there, if they had a full team...... Its no accident that BC and AC are getting alot better! I have watched most of these kids wrestle since they were in the 3rd and 4th grade. MSL is full of studs because of guys like Coach Hennosy he has put alot of time in to keep kids interested in wrestling starting at the grade school level.

The BC coaches go above and beyond starting at the Biddy-Youth with Hennosy, combined with Ankrom and Boso. Also couple parents helping. They have had a huge hand in my kids being wrestlers that they are. If we could get enough kids to stick with it the talent would be awesome.

I look for Amanada to handle both of these teams pretty easily. HT will not match up good against them. HT should handle LE.loganelmdad;1066132 wrote:Hamilton Township is hosting Amanda and Logan Elm tonight at 5PM. Should be some good matches, I will be there!

When did he suffer is concussion? Kern will be very upset, he was looking for another great match between them. They know each other very well. They are good friends. They both work out with Randy Simpson together.Hunter09;1066204 wrote:Regoli will not be on the mat tonite due to a concussion.
