That's right in theory, but I suspect the actual practice would be somewhat different. Sure, some subset of Christians would say that as long as someone is celibate, their orientation doesn't matter (and certainly having a gay orientation isn't sinful). But I don't think the rapid SEC/NASCAR/fundamentalist fanbase is going to draw such fine distinctions.

Answer to first question1. Yes he would lose severe popularity with church going people for obvious reasons.
Second question 2. the media which is run by many ACLU people would fall in love with him becuse the main stream media is way far left .. Gay in America is a cause for celebration these days .
Third question .3 No the media is more for gay activism then any daytime talk show host .

If Tebow were gay would he be so religious? CMON man If that were true everything about him would be a total sham . A facade. He isnt gay ,he is just different and in a good way so keep on hating .

By the way im not anti gay or anything ,but i dont like the far left or the far right shoving there values in my face all the time . As much as I cannot stand the far right wing religious hypocrits ,I dont like those far left wing acid droppers telling me what is right or wrong.

Are you saying that religious people are not gay? Maybe I am reading it wrong but you are saying that he can't be gay, because he is religious. I really don't care if he is gay or not, he still sucks as a quarterback.

I didnt say he cant be and i know there are alot of closet gays in the catholic church and others . I just dont think he has any gay in him at all and the thread title does question his straitness so i just put my 2 cents in

Brady finished tebow did not. Brady is the gayest looking QB ever but did not have the damn common courtesy of giving tebow a reach around after ****ing him Saturday.
