That really sucks for Johnson and IMO he won't be easily replaced. Hope Adams isn't seriously injured. He looked bad out there last night though. Still, you have to think he'll get better and at the very least he would provide some depth on the o-line.
Johnson is a load. Not wishing an injury on anyone (except Roethlisberger because he's such a douche ;)) but I won't lose any sleep not having to face Johnson.

Adams going down might be an upgrade for your O-Line if you have a replacement. I expect him to improve but last night he was a swinging gate.

So he might have the Midas Touch of Reverse Jinxing.
and now the reds were in a slump during my banning and not able to post about the reds ready to slump.......!

Didnt get to see the game last night of course but it seemed like they did OK, but it is only preseason. Ben has a tore up shoulder, the OL is bad and counting on rookies to do well, and the defense is getting O L D, Harrison is ailing, a top WR pissed off at the world, and TP who could walk away at any minute. And when you add in the up and coming bengals with great young talent, the tough Ratbirds an dnow the browns with a new owner who will bring over the steelers mystique I think the black and gold may be fighting to stay outta the basement this year.

@AdamSchefter: He always could change his mind, but Pittsburgh WR Mike Wallace is expected to report back to Steelers before the regular season begins.

Hopefully he reports as a dude really to prove he deserves a $583489473045 billion contract or whatever he wants. As opposed to a whiny "where's my jack" cancer.

Didn't see any of the Eagles game or hear anything about Rodgers-Cromartie's hit on Leftwich.

He think this is clean? lol

Good news. Missing an entire year's income to prove a point is ridiculous.

And if Wallace is planning on using this season as an audition year for his next team, he better catch each of the 20 or so balls thrown to him this season. He will be nothing more than a decoy to open things up for AB.

I can't see Tomlin giving him the opportunity to move on for more money. Tomlin don't play that game.

Wallace should ask Plaxico or Santonio what happens to diva WR's who try to buck the system in The Burgh.

James Harrison looked at that and said, "Come on, that's too much."

I think I just shit myself laughing. A comment like THAT, coming from HIM is rich...

It was flagrant, no doubt but that asshole, of ALL people, should keep his mouth shut. He's that LAST person that should be commenting on cheapshots unless he's instructing on how to give them. :p

Uh...the impression I got from reading it was that the writer was editorializing by saying the hit was so unclean that a guy with a rep for unclean hits would say it was dirty. As opposed to an actual on-the-record quote by Harrison.

After actually reading it, I got that same impression. Speaking of Harrison....he had his knee scoped...status for opener at Denver is unknown. That means the Steelers could be down two defensive starters for that game as Ryan Clark can't play in games at Denver. Would be a tough task vs. Manning and company without both of those guys.

Also, Isaac Redman gonna get an MRI done on his groin. Clay got hurt and then waived the other day, Dwyer is banged up. Baron Batch and Rainey are 3rd down guys. Getting thin at starting RB. Signed RB Jason Ford (Illinois) after waiving Clay.

@evansilva: Piggybacking Schefter's latest Mendenhall report, Wk 5 might be his most realistic return date. The game following the #Steelers Wk 4 bye.

Well said. I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns whip Pittsburgh twice this season.

"Whip" twice? I'd say most rational, realistic and remotely objective fans would be shocked by that. The Browns have beaten the Steelers 4 times since they returned in 1999. And while anything could happen this season, I'd be shocked if the Browns won both meetings this season. Just my opinion. But I realize you're just bullshitting so fail on me for taking the bait. LOL

Much like most of the world probably expects status quo in recent history to continue this season?
