I like Quinn Cook's game. He is a great distributor. The problem is we don't enough players who know how to move without the ball. This is not new as most of these kids (save the bigs and Curry) are used to moving with the ball in their hand. The good news is this can be coached and as they get more instruction they will improve.

Until the improvement is seen, I imagine the Devils will continue to have those possessions where the shot clock is running down inside of 5 and Austin Rivers either drives in uncontrollably or someone hoists a three from 5 feet behind the line. It happens, but it will no doubt be assessed and worked on.

What kills me is the disappearance of Ryan Kelly and Andre Dawkins in games. They are quite jekyll and hyde. Its almost as if they aren't sure what players they are yet. Kelly has such a good perimeter game and can hit the midrange jumper yet often I see him trying to drive the ball to the rim. That simply isn't his game. Ironically this is an issue with Dawkins. As a frosh he drove the ball and created opportunities and did some of his own work at the rim (See ACC title game vs. GaTech). Now its like he won't move inside the line for fear of disappearing like Moonlight Graham.

To be honest I agree. OSU isn't playing well, and Duke isn't coming off a return flight from Hawaii where they played 3 games in 5 days. Duke also hit 12 or 13 three pointers. Not many teams lose if they hit that many triples. OSU has had its struggles on the road as we have seen as well.

The Dook/OSU game was on November 29. They played Kansas in the Maui Championship on November 23. 6 days.
