Blown call, yes. Not knowing the rules, don't think so
because if it's a clear recovery, you CAN challenge and change possession.

Wrong. The whistle blew before Denver has possession. Know the rules.

The whistle was blown before recovery. Therefore there is no recovery, only a fumble and spotted where the ball was fumbled.

that isn't a "rule" but it was a blown call. I do agree that the Steelers seem to benefit from these type of calls more than any other team I watch.

Yeah, the second call was right, but how do you miss a lateral that was a lateral by a yard and a half...inexcusable. Then if you are unsure...you dont blow it dead..you wait and make the call after a little ref huddle.

The NFL is a joke, plain and simple.
