I watch more football than most people on here put together. I like Teddy Ginn as a returner and occasional offensive threat but to say he'd instantly become the Browns best receiver is erroneous. Also he has problems consistently catching the football. Maybe a return to his hometown would breathe life into his career though.sleeper;1065477 wrote:The Browns don't have Ted Ginn and Ted Ginn can catch. Do you even watch football? Ginn would instantly become the Browns best receiver and would be a much needed deep threat.

Good point. The only time Ted Ginn could catch is when he had T. Smith throwing him the ball. It's too bad T. Smith is now a Steeler. It also sucks that the Browns will have to play against Troy for the rest of his career.Y-Town Steelhound;1065484 wrote:I watch more football than most people on here put together. Last year, as in just this past season? That had to be the slowest punt return for a TD I have seen in my life. Cribbs is not what he used to be, it's pretty clear to most people.Y-Town Steelhound;1065481 wrote:Disagree on the first part, we're not talking punt returner. Lost a step? Having played with Pierre at mu that is pretty accurate. I always thought Cecil shorts was about equal speed to garçon but garçon is a tank and his first couple steps are so quick. He would be a perfect fit for this offense

What you are really trying to say is: "It will also suck having to watch Troy hold the clipboard for the rest of his career".sleeper;1065489 wrote:Good point. Big Ben isn't very durable, both on and off the field. One play, he goes down, they put Troy in.Skyhook79;1065534 wrote:What you are really trying to say is: "It will also suck having to watch Troy hold the clipboard for the rest of his career".

Very true. That's why I said ideally. Unfortunately, it isn't an ideal world.se-alum;1065461 wrote:It's just not that easy though. You have to get value at your pick. If the LBs available at the 37 are better than the RT's available at 37, you have to take the LB. You can't just take a questionable RT because that's what you need. The Browns are "set" at any position, so you have take the best player on your board.
I agree with taking the best player on the board... most of the time. Sometimes it's better to roll the dice and make a reach for a real position of need, than it'd be to keep adding pieces that are already in place.
Ya know what I mean?
