I'll explain..Sonofanump;1155680 wrote:Your statement had no middle ground or progression mentioned.
I don't think Weeden will be any good. So I definitely do not think he'll ever lead this team deep in the playoffs. I realize that is COMPLETELY 100% opinion and that I could definitely be wrong. Just to make that clear before I get the inevitable "OH SO YOU CAN PREDICT THE FUTURE?!?!" responses
So why would I want this team to go 7-9 and get a 8-15 draft pick and stick with Weeden?
I want them to either a) be really, really fucking good (and this is the option I want the most obviously..just don't think it'll happen) or b) be really, really fucking bad so they can get a top QB.
From that point, I want the progressions to happen..7-9 in 2013, 10-6 in 2014, 14-2 in 2015, etc.

Yes. That Holtzman dude said we have 7 picks left but by my count it's 8...a 3rd, two 4th's, a 5th, two 6th's & two 7th'sMulva;1155695 wrote:In addition to 87?

Yeah 5th round was when the Browns took the LS..BR1986FB;1155696 wrote:Pontbriand, 5th rounder, I believe.

And yes BR they took Janikowski in the 1st and then a punter in the 3rd in that same draft... granted they are probably the best kicker/punter combo in the NFL still was crazy they made both those picks.

I want Weeden to be either awesome or shitty...Can he take this team to the Super Bowl? No? NEXThoops23;1155681 wrote:So because you THINK Weeden sucks, you WANT the Browns to suck? Makes sense..
Like I said, I'm not big on the Weeden pick, but I've grown on it. I hope he succeeds because I want the Browns to do well.

Indians come back from a 2-0 deficit and win 3-2 in the 9th. Druby with the walk off single.

How about lets just get to the playoffs first. Baby steps. Maybe a winning season. We can then build on that with maybe a better pick in a few years.SportsAndLady;1155703 wrote:I want Weeden to be either awesome or ****ty...Can he take this team to the Super Bowl? No? NEXT

What WR's do u guys like left? What are your thoughts on Juron Criner? nfl.com says he should be one of the top 5 WR's taken off the board. He's still there, so what are your thoughts?

Jenkins says that "teams that passed on him are going to pay"

I seem to think that is what his baby mommas are telling him now. "You are gonna pay"
