tom brady. one in a million. weak excuse.SportsAndLady;1071226 wrote:Yes, I understnad that and your article/point is duly noted.
Most 6th rounders don't pan out either, but then you have Tom Brady
Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, Ryan Fitzpatrick is doing alright, Matt Schaub was a 3rd rounder,shook_17;1071604 wrote:tom brady. one in a million. weak excuse.
Scratch my name off the list for fans of this draft. Jeff Risdon comes across as an an idiot.
i will give you warner. tony romo hasn't done shit in the NFL, biggest choke artist ever, neither has fitzpatrick, he had what 5 good games last year then fell of the side of the earth? i have a question for ya, how many division titles and playoff games have those qbs won?! tony romo hasn't won a playoff game, neither has fitzpatrick or shaub and i know for damn sure fitzpatrick and shaub have zero division titles. so if you want a mediorce qb in the regular season and doesn't win playoff games and division titles have at em.Pick6;1071610 wrote:Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, Ryan Fitzpatrick is doing alright, Matt Schaub was a 3rd rounder,
Romo has won 2 Division titles and has 1 playoff win, while not great it is more than any Browns QB over the last 17 years.shook_17;1071925 wrote:i will give you warner. tony romo hasn't done shit in the NFL, biggest choke artist ever, neither has fitzpatrick, he had what 5 good games last year then fell of the side of the earth? i have a question for ya, how many division titles and playoff games have those qbs won?! tony romo hasn't won a playoff game, neither has fitzpatrick or shaub and i know for damn sure fitzpatrick and shaub have zero division titles. so if you want a mediorce qb in the regular season and doesn't win playoff games and division titles have at em.
I'll do a "180" and say that of that list that he posted (Warner, Romo, Fitzpatrick, Schaub, etc), yes...they were later round or undrafted QB's but Colt McCoy will not have near the career that any of them have, including Fitzpatrick.Skyhook79;1071956 wrote:Romo has won 2 Division titles and has 1 playoff win, while not great it is more than any Browns QB over the last 17 years.
i knew he had a division title or two but i didn't know about the playoff win. opps. agree its not great but the dude makes the same mistakes time and time again. i wouldn't want him in cleveland because he is vastly overrated. they need to draft RGIII this year.Skyhook79;1071956 wrote:Romo has won 2 Division titles and has 1 playoff win, while not great it is more than any Browns QB over the last 17 years.

I agree who would want a QB in Cleveland with those stats.
Fitzpatrick sucks. You hate McCoy, which is cool, but come on.BR1986FB;1071958 wrote:I'll do a "180" and say that of that list that he posted (Warner, Romo, Fitzpatrick, Schaub, etc), yes...they were later round or undrafted QB's but Colt McCoy will not have near the career that any of them have, including Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick still has a higher career completion % & QB rating than McCoy. Fitzpatrick may suck but McCoy sucks worse, by the numbers.derek bomar;1072147 wrote:Fitzpatrick sucks. You hate McCoy, which is cool, but come on.
LOL are you serious... I really shouldn't even respond because if you really believe this then you truly are an idiot.shook_17;1071925 wrote:i will give you warner. tony romo hasn't done shit in the NFL, biggest choke artist ever, neither has fitzpatrick, he had what 5 good games last year then fell of the side of the earth? i have a question for ya, how many division titles and playoff games have those qbs won?! tony romo hasn't won a playoff game, neither has fitzpatrick or shaub and i know for damn sure fitzpatrick and shaub have zero division titles. so if you want a mediorce qb in the regular season and doesn't win playoff games and division titles have at em.
You're comparing someone who has been in the league for 6 seasons vs. 2 seasons(one of which, by all accounts, shouldn't even count).BR1986FB;1072179 wrote:Fitzpatrick still has a higher career completion % & QB rating than McCoy. Fitzpatrick may suck but McCoy sucks worse, by the numbers.
Why shouldn't one count and which season?se-alum;1072232 wrote:You're comparing someone who has been in the league for 6 seasons vs. 2 seasons(one of which, by all accounts, shouldn't even count).
schaub had some part in this years title. they can thank peyton mannings neck for having that title. schaub and romo don't lead their teams to divison titles year in and year out, let alone playoff victories. i don't care what they do in regular season. regular season stats don't mean shit, make it to the playoffs, make some noise then come talk to me. romo will NEVER be elite due to that fact he makes the same mistake year in and year out. also look at his roster, talent across the board, hard for a qb to fail there. schaub doesn't have a playoff victory either. i want division titles, confrence championships and superbowls not good stats. you don't like what i write iliketurtles block the shit.Iliketurtles;1072194 wrote:LOL are you serious... 1) I will agree with you that Fitzpatrick isn't anything great but he is still better than McCoy but I wouldn't want him as my QB.
2)Schaub- He actually does have a division title(this year) if you want to discredit him for helping the Texans win it because he got injured then whatever fits your agenda. The Texans might be in the Super Bowl if he never gets injured. Schaub is one of the top 10 QBs in the league and saying you wouldn't want him because he never did anything in the playoffs is like saying you wouldnt take Stafford because he hasn't done **** either.
3)Romo- Really the biggest choke artist ever? Do you seriously believe that. I could go on and on about Romo but I'll just keep this short do you know since 2006(when Romo became the starter) who has the best passer rating in the 4th quarter? Its Romo. Does he make bonehead throws sure but all QBs do it. Romo's just get overblown so much more.
If you really want to call Romo and Schaub mediorce QBs then like 95% of QBs in the NFL are mediorce.
The first one when he was basically shunned by the coaching staff until he was forced to be thrown into the fire. Even if you want to count that year, it's still only 2 years(with lockout between seasons) that he has had to work with NFL coaches. Not to mention the changing of the offensive scheme.BR1986FB;1072238 wrote:Why shouldn't one count and which season?
Yet his first year was the year that gave us "hope" that he'd amount to something. And then he regressed...se-alum;1072335 wrote:The first one when he was basically shunned by the coaching staff until he was forced to be thrown into the fire. Well you need more than a QB to get division titles, playoff wins, conference championships, superbowls. Just look at the NFC playoffs Brees>>>>>>>>>>Smith and Rodgers>Manning. But Smith and Mannings teams won because their defenses were superior to Brees and Rodgers. Also I'd say I still think the Texans win that division with Peyton there but it would be close.shook_17;1072329 wrote:schaub had some part in this years title. they can thank peyton mannings neck for having that title. schaub and romo don't lead their teams to divison titles year in and year out, let alone playoff victories. i don't care what they do in regular season. regular season stats don't mean shit, make it to the playoffs, make some noise then come talk to me. romo will NEVER be elite due to that fact he makes the same mistake year in and year out. also look at his roster, talent across the board, hard for a qb to fail there. schaub doesn't have a playoff victory either. i want division titles, confrence championships and superbowls not good stats. you don't like what i write iliketurtles block the shit.
