A strange observation I had from last Sundays game after watching it again on DVR.

Was it just me or did Weeden look almost unstoppable when he took a 5-7 step drop compared to when he took a 3 step drop?

I feel this may have a lot to do with the fact he was a shotgun QB is college. When he raises his eyes to make the reads on his progressions the play is already 2-3 seconds old, he made decisive decisions and got the ball out on time and on target.

Maybe the current coaching regime (and the quick pass west coast offense) are holding our rookie (I don't care how old he is, he is STILL an NFL rookie) QB back a little.

Just a little food for thought. (Leftover Turkey edition)

Our coaching regime is holding the entire team back. Shurmur will never get a head coaching opportunity again.

I read something where opposing defenses are taught to raise their hands immediately (expecting a slant) when he goes into a three step drop. Probably explains a lot of batted down passes.

All of this drama with Pat Shurmur is why he needed to be fired during the bye.

The players are going to be here next year, Shurmur is not.

Waging a public opinion war between Shurmur (and his buttboy Terry Pluto) and the offense over who's fault it's failure is is not helping anyone going forward.

Get rid of this guy already.

LOL QQ Pride. Pluto is far from his "butt boy". Pluto has been critical of him since last season. Nice fail.

Pluto has been in the tank for Shurmur all season, and Shurmur has been passing along tidbits to him of late trying to bury his players. You clearly have read much of what he has written of late. He is officially carrying Shurmur's water now.

Sadly for him he picked a losing horse, but he must certainly like the access.

Not sure Shumur understands the game. Was he just complaining that a review was not done on the TD?

I know it's the Browns but with the Raiders, followed by the Chiefs, in the next two weeks, it would be nice to see the Browns go on a little run. Last three games (WASH, DEN & PITT) will be pretty rough.

listen to these QQ ****ies. steelers boards.

Lol in the first post of the 2nd thread, there's this jewel:
-The number of penalties is showing how undicsiplined this team is. Take away half the penalties and we probably are 7-4 or 8-2.
7+4=11
8+2=10
.......
Lol idiot!!!!
