That would be to nice. Id gladly give up a 2nd rounder for him. Him and little with trich in the back field. Yes please! You would not be able to stack the box against us.

Plus isn't he one of the guys who likes to smoke da weed?

Reason I ask is that if it's 300 more than McCoy (2700+ yards) had, that shouldn't be too tough (3000 yards) but if it's 300 more than the Browns had (McCoy/Wallace 3300 combined), that might be a stretch (3600 yards as a rook).

I'm projecting Weeden to probably throw for 3300-3400 yards as a rook.
Are you counting the 300-400 yards worth of dropped passes our WRs will contribute into this?

I think the WR's are going to be vastly improved. Greg Little won't have nearly the drops he had in 2011. There was a reason that he was touted as having the "best hands in the 2011 draft" by quite a few analysts.

I'd give up a 6th at best for him. He's not that great, never will be either.

That's how I see it. If anything he could stretch the field and not let every team stack the box. Migraine issues or not he is an upgrade to every receiver on our roster except for maybe little

He's a FA for a reason. I'll just go with MoMass for another year and expect him to magically improve even though he has displayed no ability to do so thus far in his career. /Heckert

So at this point, what are the thoughts on who will be the 6 WR's to make the roster?

I'm going with Little, Cribbs, MoMass, Norwood, Travis Benjamin & Josh Cooper. I think Carlton Mitchell's "9 lives" have run out.

I had high hopes for C. Mitchell, but at this point Paul Hubbard has showed more than he has so I'd agree he's probably gone. Unless he lights up the preseason.

Obviously not in pads but I heard that Cooper looked 10x's better than C-Mitch in OTA's & Minicamp.

I've heard the same, my only concern is that I hear he's not as fast or as quick as Norwood. He def doesn't have the height or speed of Mitchell, so what does he bring to the table that's an advantage? Hands?

He's obviously NOT Wes Welker but Welker runs a 4.65....Cooper runs a 4.62. If he can find an area to get open underneath, he could be Weeden's security blanket.

Carlton Mitchell is a great guy. Sucks he never got on the field. He's built like a tank, just have him play LB....

One of the topics that Ross Tucker has been discussing on NFL Radio in the morning is the "keep Seneca Wallace over Colt McCoy" debate since it looks like the Browns are trying to trade him (McCoy).

Pro's to keeping McCoy are that he's had starting experience, he's younger and he's cheaper.

Con's to keeping McCoy are that he's never been a backup (will this set well with him?), his dumbass meddling family and the "backup QB is always the most popular player in Cleveland" syndrome.

Pro's to keeping Wallace are that he knows the system like the back of his hand, his familiarity with Holmgren and the fact that there's not a whole bunch of difference between him and McCoy (skill-wise)

Con's to keeping Wallace are his age, his salary and the fact that he was all about "me" instead of "team" last year.

I had called in to Tucker and was just about to get on the air when the Browns fan who called in right before me kind of stole my thunder with his thoughts.

What are the thoughts from OC Browns fans on this?

I personally think Wallace is a piece of shit but I think that McCoy needs a new start somewhere else. I don't necessarily think that McCoy will be a public whiner but I do think his family will. Plus I think that having McCoy with the team could divide the locker room (half want McCoy as the starter, half want Weeden). Weeden starts having "growing pains", which he likely will as most rookies do, and the McCoy chants will start.

I would tell Wallace to GTFO. McCoy a young cheap back up QB that can come in, familiar with the system, team guy, etc... I could give two shits about the fan QQing for the back up QB, his family QQing, etc... Regardless he's going to be a back up QB and this team/organization should be strong enough to handle his dad making a QQ comment in the media. Its a no brainer IMO.

I am not a fan of either one of them, so if you can get a draft pick in a trade for McCoy, I would trade him. If you can't get anything for either one, I would keep McCoy and release Wallace. I would try to pick up a QB in the late rounds next year to groom as a backup for the next several years.
