I'll explain..

I don't think Weeden will be any good. So I definitely do not think he'll ever lead this team deep in the playoffs. I realize that is COMPLETELY 100% opinion and that I could definitely be wrong. Just to make that clear before I get the inevitable "OH SO YOU CAN PREDICT THE FUTURE?!?!" responses

So why would I want this team to go 7-9 and get a 8-15 draft pick and stick with Weeden?

I want them to either a) be really, really fucking good (and this is the option I want the most obviously..just don't think it'll happen) or b) be really, really fucking bad so they can get a top QB.

From that point, I want the progressions to happen..7-9 in 2013, 10-6 in 2014, 14-2 in 2015, etc.

Yes. That Holtzman dude said we have 7 picks left but by my count it's 8...a 3rd, two 4th's, a 5th, two 6th's & two 7th's

Yeah 5th round was when the Browns took the LS..

And yes BR they took Janikowski in the 1st and then a punter in the 3rd in that same draft... granted they are probably the best kicker/punter combo in the NFL still was crazy they made both those picks.

Like I said, I'm not big on the Weeden pick, but I've grown on it. I hope he succeeds because I want the Browns to do well.
I want Weeden to be either awesome or shitty...Can he take this team to the Super Bowl? No? NEXT

How many Super Bowls have Phillip Rivers, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Mark Sanchez, Vince Young, Matt Leinert, etc taken their teams to?

Al Davis also took Ray Guy with a #1 but I think that one worked out. Didn't the Lions take Skladany P OhioSt #1 also?

Indians come back from a 2-0 deficit and win 3-2 in the 9th. Druby with the walk off single.

How about lets just get to the playoffs first. Baby steps. Maybe a winning season. We can then build on that with maybe a better pick in a few years.

What WR's do u guys like left? What are your thoughts on Juron Criner? nfl.com says he should be one of the top 5 WR's taken off the board. He's still there, so what are your thoughts?
