Good thing the front office doesn't care what you think. H + H had Weeden ranked #13 on their board, so it is possible that he WAS BPA at the time they took him. Also, passing on a player like Richardson and being in the division we are would be incredibly ill-advised. I try to make a habit of ignoring anything Jim Brown says anymore, and I did the same on his evaluation of Richardson; evidently, so did H + H.Mulva;1155356 wrote:Isn't Heckert Mr. BPA? And does that mean Weeden was the top player left on his draft board? That's pretty terrifying.
Belichick is full of ****. He's not drafting Weeden when they already have Hoyer and Mallett.
Looking at today and tomorrow, I was starting to think I would like Hill as a deep threat on the outside and Joe Adams as a slot guy in round 4, but looking at the picks remaining I don't see how we could do that and still address RG, RT, CB, and OLB with guys that might actually contribute.
And that's why I wanted to trade down from 4 and add another 2nd round pick instead of trading up and losing 3 picks.
