massive reach, and does nothing to address the need for a playmaking receiver.

RT can be had later on, not at pick 37.

I'm fine with that. I guess H & H liked Schwartz more than Massie. I don't know enough about offensive linemen to question it, and who knows if he would have been there in the 3rd.

They seem to be gearing for "Run early, run often" on offense. Unless they have some 'diamonds in the rough' receivers that they can have in the later rounds, I don't see why we didn't get another receiver.

Sports Illustrated‏@SInow Browns have had a nice draft: Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden and now Cal T Mitchell Schwartz, who goes with the No. 37 pick.

Three starters in three picks...

Seems like it would have been far easier to trade back up for Schwartz as he wasn't projected to go anytime soon. Should have gotten the playmaker now, because I think those guys are going to go very soon.

I'm ok with the pick. The right side of our line was horrible. Trent was our #1 pick, we need to create an environment for him to succeed.

Cleveland obviously liked Mitchell to pick him at 37.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them move back up.

We don't know that. Each team has different draft boards. It's completely conceivable another team in the 2nd had him ahead of Massie as well.

I really wanted Hill at that pick. He is a burner (and big) on the outside and Weeden could have just thrown him bombs and let him go get it.

I don't see us being able to get a WR that caliber in the 3rd or late 2nd.

I would have taken Massie over him but yeah they are def securing up the OL. I think they move up for a WR.

I would have much rather taken Glenn or Osemele. Both potential RTs, and both massive so even if that doesn't pan out they have the make to be solid guards.

It's a position of need though. At least they didn't completely shit that pick away.

Ok pick - maybe a reach but fills a hole nonetheless. Gotta get a wr though

Heckert loves the Cal guys. Like I said earlier, keep an eye on WR Marvin Jones.

Don't mind it at all. Now we need to draft a WR or an OLB.
