The Steelers weren't all that great when I was growing up (Mark Malone/Bubby Brister years). Notre Dame.....first year I remember watching ND football was Holtz's first season which was when I was 8 years old. They weren't good then either although Lou did turn things around quickly. Syracuse was pretty good. Can't lie about that. However, I "chose" to like them when I first started following college hoops (11/12 years old) because they were on a lot on our local Pittsburgh stations (Big East country) and I loved their uniforms and Billy Owens was awesome. Been a fan since. I don't remember even seeing ND basketball on TV and so I didn't know shit about them. I do know that they weren't in the Big East back then though. The Knicks were good but never got over the Jordan hump. I enjoyed their physical style of play. Of course, they were the laughing stock of the NBA during the Isaiah Thomas/Scott Layden era.

That last line you posted would be more appropriate (and more funny) if I cheered for all winners.

Agreed. It's not like little Fremont oh had a damn sports team. I love Cleveland sports and try to watch as many games as possible.

I'm actually in sort of a pissy mood tonight, so reading this gave me quite a bit of laughs.
I have pretty low hopes for the season right now, probably won't change much after the draft. So when they more than likely suck cock I wont be surprised. Besides, im not a diehard Browns fan, just root for them because I am from Ohio and live in Akron. Cowboys are my #1 team.

As I told someone via PM, this has been fantastic. This place was all "GUYS! this journalist (aka, my next door neighbor w/ a blog) just posted that the Browns might take Brittany Griner with pick #4!" and then followed by "Anything is better than McCoy!!! LOLLOLOL"

I couldn't take it anymore..had to spice things up a little bit...and what do you know, BR was here lol it was just too perfect.
