Who said anything about mediocre players. There are players out there that are high character, talented guys. Garcon would have been better than anyone on our roster. I don't want a bunch of shit either. But sign someone. We have a ton of holes.

I will be pretty pissed if they don't go after Winston. As much as I am happy to see fatshos gone, we still need to find someone to fill in at RT.

Steelers are mostly composed of players they drafted, same with the rats and bengals...

Look at the SB winning teams the past 10 years. Most of them didn't go crazy in FA.

They won't. Expect a "value" guy like Anthony Collins (Bengals) or King Dunlap (Eagles).

Oh well. It won't bug me. I am ok with building through the draft with a young team. Not really desperate. Building through the draft seemed to work out for most SB champs.

Fuck, i was hoping they would throw a ton of money at Winston. He would make the line instantly top 5 in the league. It is a shame that they are this passive...fan base will be pissed.

Did you guys hear what Manningham had to say about the Browns organization? I heard the interview on KNR, but I think they ripped it from the Plain Dealer....it is worth a listen

So I just saw something interesting. Read a comment that Heckert is "so anti-free agency that it's painful, while Holmgren likes the bigger name players and the spotlight."

Also some "hub bub' about a potential trade for the Texans Ben Tate but not sure if it's the Browns involved.
