Aren't you a bengals fan now?
I wanted to cheer for the Browns but can't when I disapprove of their decision making.

I must not know how the cap works, because I have no idea how they can afford Garcon and Morgan. With that being said, Garcon and Morgan are #2 WRs at best imo.BR1986FB;1115109 wrote:So did 49ers WR Josh Morgan. Guess RG3 won't have anyone to throw to.
Garcon is still better than anything the Browns have. I'm sure they released a few guys to get lower.like_that;1115122 wrote:I must not know how the cap works, because I have no idea how they can afford Garcon and Morgan. With that being said, Garcon and Morgan are #2 WRs at best imo.
Right on dude.BR1986FB;1115124 wrote:Garcon is still better than anything the Browns have. I'm sure they released a few guys to get lower.
I knew not to expect anything with Heckert at the helm but does anyone else get frustrated hearing about these other teams signing players and not even a "peep" on the Browns scheduling visits? I mean good lord, even the BILLS...the friggin BILLS have Mario Williams and Robert Meachem in for visits tonight. Just frustrating...
Meh. The redskins/snyder have been going hard at free agents for the past 12 years now, and it hasn't gotten them shit. Also, I don't really give a fuck what the redskins do, because they aren't even in our conference, let alone division.BR1986FB;1115124 wrote:Garcon is still better than anything the Browns have. Remember...like Heckert said "these guys are free agents for a reason." Slow & steady wins the race....like_that;1115134 wrote:Meh. According to OBR, the Browns haven't made one FA call yet. I am all for not being like the dumb ass redskins, but for fucks sake at least go after Winston. You don't need to sign that superstar FA until your team is ready to go to the next level (i.e. bears), but geezus don't just play with your penis when you can sign guys who would be a great help to the team.
Haven't heard that name in awhile. WTF has happened to him?BR1986FB;1115138 wrote:Eddie Royal is next on the Redskins list. They want THREE WR's....
I would be pissed if Heckert said we were goign to be going hard in free agency and trying to sign players. But he has been true to his word since day one that he would not be going after free agents. That is why I don't care about it that much. He's got a plan, and I'm supporting him until he starts to slide.BR1986FB;1115124 wrote:Garcon is still better than anything the Browns have. I'm sure they released a few guys to get lower.

He was having a pretty good year until being injured, I believe.like_that;1115144 wrote:Haven't heard that name in awhile. WTF has happened to him?
I guess you would prefer kokinis, savage or policy as our gm then?BR1986FB;1115143 wrote:Remember...like Heckert said "these guys are free agents for a reason." Slow & steady wins the race....
Garcon was wanting a whole lot more than he is worth IMO. The Browns obviously have some targets in the draft if they aren't making FA calls on WR's. Not to say that they shouldn't spend on someone, but Rogers and Williams definitely didn't do a whole lot for us. Winston still seems like a lock to me as far as knowing what you are getting though. I can't imagine a much better pair of tackles than he and Thomas...Commander of Awesome;1115145 wrote:Yup I just try and remember the off season after 2007. LOL at drafting a fullback in the 4th round to begin with.like_that;1114795 wrote:Not to mention he was a rookie this past season. LOL at making up your mind on a FB after his rookie season. Glad COA is not the GM of the Browns.
I don't get why you don't get it. They all but guaranteed they wouldn't be very active in free agency. I don't care if they only bring in 2-3 players, as long as they're impact players. I'm sick of bringing in mediocre character guys and depth players.royal_k;1115142 wrote:Players going off the board....and not one to the Browns. I don't get it, and it's very frustrating.
