That would be a no brainer trade...and I could definitely see it happening if the skins' liked RG3 that much. If that did happen, and we could get one of those two passrushers, where do we go with our 6th pick? richardson? Upshaw? Jeffery?

Let's say we do the trade, luck, kalil, blackmon, claiborne, and rg3 are off the board. We get arakpo to help solidify our LB core. OLB taken care of, do you go DE or one of the 3 listed up top? at that spot, i'm taking upshaw. finalize the defense with orakpo, jackson, and upshaw as our LB core. Go after a fast reciever with the 2nd first or richardson if he falls that low(i personally think he is going to be a stud in the NFL) and then get BPA with our first 2nd.

FA with that selection, you go after a corner or safety(f u sheldon brown) and another WR

Well no shit you do that...hell, i'd swap #4 for #6 for next year's first rounder only. I'd might even do it for a 2nd rounder this year.

If the Browns like RG3, think someone wants to trade up to the Rams to get him, and call STL to see the asking price to move up (2 spots), do you think the Rams aren't going to ask for a shit ton to rape the Browns? I know there's a difference in going from 4 to 2 versus going from 6 to 4 but you can throw the draft chart value out the window when talking about franchise QB's.

Besides, you're talking about Dan Snyder (a total idiot) and a guy (Tom Heckert) who might have a better track record at raping (teams) than Ben Roethlisberger.

If i remember correctly Orakpo played DE in college, so that would solitify our d line for years. (hopefully) But we HAVE to go offense with our first two picks. This team was a joke for an offense, it was disgusting, and im not talking oline either. I am talking wide reciever, qb, running back, hell i don't care even if its a tight end as long as they make plays. then we can go either RT or OLB with our 2nd round pick.


EDIT: If we stayed pat and we ended up with Blackmon with the 4th overall (which i highly doubt happens) i wouldn't hesitate to go Jeffery, Wright or Floyd with that second 1st round pick. Sure your are going to say it doesn't work look at the lions. But our wide outs go from the worst in the NFL to a good freaking bunch. Blackmon as your 1, Jeffery, Wright, Floyd as your 2, then little as your 3. Then if they choose to keep Colt there is no reason to fail.

The trade would be nice, but it wouldn't be worth giving up a franchise QB for the next 10-15 years who can win a Super Bowl. You can find pass rushers.

If we get their first rounder for next year's draft, then you have to take it. Chances are the Redskins won't be like the Falcons, and they will not have a good record the following season, therefore the Browns would be picking high with their pick.

Ummm, yes there is...he's Colt McCoy. Arming him with weapons is going to war armed with a water pistol. I think Holmgren/Heckert is smart enough to see this.

Look i don't like Colt. I hope they go with somebody else next year. I have no faith in the dude. But im saying if they go with two wide outs in the first round, i don't want to hear the bullshit when he fails that he doesn't have the talent.

Not directly calling you out with this comment, but I hate how people are saying things like "draft RG3 and have your franchise QB for the next 15 years" or even worse, "draft RG3 and you'll win super bowls"

Saying "you can't win with Colt McCoy" (admittedly) is probably true..but you don't know 100% just like you don't know RG3 100% will be a stud, or even a decent QB.

THAT is why I'm not against keeping McCoy one more year w/ weapons around him. The negative effects on the franchise are 10x worse if we draft RG3 and he busts, then it would to keep McCoy around and he play poorly again. Becuase even in the latter case, your top 5 pick could help elsewhere (talking about a Claiborne or a Blackmon), and you could just take a QB in 2013. RG3 flopping would put the franchise back ANOTHER ~ years. So my only thing is, taht is fine if you want to draft RG3 IF YOU THINK HE IS GOING TO BE GOOD. Don't just draft him because people are saying he's going to be good. Heckert and Holmgren need to truly believe he will be their franchise QB.

I'm not saying he will or he won't. I'm sure they will have a qb competition and whoever wins will be the starter. If mccoy wins, and does well next year, that's goign to be quiet a predicament for you!

Again, since franchise QB's are the hardest players to draft successfully, would it still be worth it?

Yes, in my scenario, the Browns will be picking high with the Redskins pick (possibly their own pick as well). If they need their QB draft Barkley.

If that were to happen it wouldn't be because "I was wrong about the QB." It would be because I can't stomach watching his sorry noodle armed ass play anymore.

He's THAT bad. But like I said, don't think I have anything to worry about because a) doubt he's the QB and b) he's not leading this team to the playoffs so I wouldn't be missing anything.
